So apart from the vibes at 6000-7000rpm TVS has made an impressive 300cc class motorcycle for Indian roads/tracks, a quantum leap from their usual way of doing things. Hopefully they come up with a ECU update soon to slightly rectify the vibe issue. Superb Road Review from Team Zigwheels. Cheers!
I had a general question about warranty - Let's say a vehicle has 2 years/30,000kms warranty, whichever is earlier, and manufacturer gives you 3 free services and then 3 paid ones which are 'mandatory' to ensure warranty is not void, as written in the manual. If you go in for minor stuff like oil change or air filter clean up etc, or brake/clutch level tightening or chain tightening etc they shouldn't change you for the services during the 'warranty period' right? Also what happens after warranty? Do you get the same services with money that you would get during the 'warranty period paid services'?

Vibes at 6500-7000 rpm sounds rather disappointing.... Coz mostly on highway touring it's the most used rev band & vibes for a 2.25lk bike doesn't seem good. Common what r these people doing. Gixxer goes like butter at those rpms.... Definitely there's difference in terms of engine refinement btw an indian manufacturer & japanese ones....hope tvs corrects this "vibes"!

how was the ride when u got it delivered to U? Were there vibration issues? I got the bike a week back..just 100 odd kms now but I feel there's lot of vibration right from the word go..also gear shifting is not smooth enuf..moreover if I press the rear brakes a little hard then there's some noise and I feel something on d brake pedal as well..let me know if u faced the same issue and if it gets fixed after first servicing? Goodmorning Kartikaye, This is samrat from Indore. I am planning to buy this RR310 in couple of months maybe as soon as it is available in my city, but I have few doubts/concern regarding the same Which are as defined below- 1. I heard that this thing does rattle at the cruising speeds on 110 Kmph.... specially the vibes from fairing. What is your take on it, because initially if it is so, over a period of time it'll go worst. 2. My budget is 2.5 Lacks, how would you rate it was w.r.t the Duke 390. My purpose of buying it is for office commuting 65 km to and fro and for me top speed is not priority instead acceleration is a one I should be able to cruise at 100/ 110 without much efforts. So, I would request you to help me decide between the two as once bought it'll be there for next 5 years with me hence longevity is also important equally. Best Regards! Samrat

kshitiz sharma suspension comfort is very good. Better than RS. You will feel vibes in the 6-7500 rpm range. So will be a bit troublesome when doing highway speeds.

just FYI, the heat doesn't come towards the back of bike unless it is moving. the passing through air is what brings the heat to the rider's legs. hence, This laser thermometer test is moot. if you want real results, fit the thermo on the bike pointing at where the rider's legs would be and fit a gopro to capture the Thermometer's display and do the same commuting test once more. That will be more reliable and close to real life scenario.
I have actually fell in love this bike but dropped my plans to buy this bike since I am married and i hav to keep my wife also happy while riding.. With this kind of piliion seat, its really a hard time to use as a family bike. So i am moving on to a used CBR 250 r which offers good power,good cruising abliities and a carlike pillion comfort..
