Good job! Same happened to me with my A7r II. Next thing I had to do when I got it (used) was to remove the stubborn sensor dust with Scotch "Magic Tape" household adhesive tape. Worked like a charm and I've not cleaned again ever since.
This looks interesting. I have two old Sony Alpha cameras: the A55 and the A77. I bought them second hand. Both of them have that problem on the display. So, it seems that it is a screen protector after all. I will see if it is also the same for those cameras.
Thank you for posting this, I though that me NEX 5R was ruined & I would need to replace the camera given its age. But now i will only need to replace the screen protector.
Does your screen look like the one I showed? I applied screen protector over that film on my Sony A7III right after I got. But on my A7mark2 I had to scrape the layer like I showed in the video.
@@JuliaCaban i just checked the information at sony. The a7 iii is the first camera, which does not have the reflection screen layer attached when sold. To avoid this issue. So if someone tries the same as you did with the a7rii on his a7 iii he gonna damage the Touchscreen, cuz of the missing reflection screen protector. Just wanted to let you know. Maybe you change the title, to avoid trouble ^^ best
@@JuliaCaban The anti glare functionality will not work after doing that. (It doesn't damage the anti glare film so whenever you remove the screen protector, the anti glare coating will start working again.)

sooo some people told me, the a7r iii has the factory screen. And some have not, they simply scratched their screen. So no idea haha

The a7 protector has the black borders and the logo on it ,when you remove it you can see the silver screen under the transparent glass

Apparently, it's not a screen protector but an anti-glare film.
I didn’t know that! now that I have a new camera I applied the screen protector on top of that anti glare film and it looks great:)
