Thank you, thank you! This is EXACTLY what I’ve been struggling with forever. The early shoulder rotation makes it very hard for me to project the ball far enough right when I need to open my angles up. Can’t wait for my next practice session
I just found the link for your bowling analysis so I will be signing up for the year subscription for sure. Plus the 900 global ball sounds great I almost just bought a Origin
I have been doing this and not realizing it until this video. I used to record myself in practice and could correct this. I stopped a couple years ago. My serious off balance issues are about to be corrected. THANK YOU!
I made this change a few weeks ago, and i absolutely feel like my last two steps in the approach have a LOT more power. My ball motion is also more forward and is clearing the deck a lot cleaner too.
This is exactly the tip I needed! I started getting my shoulder in front of me due to an injury and did not realize I had retained this bad habit! I’ll definitely try to keep my shoulders in sync.
Great video, very informative. Missing left is one of my biggest issues. Will use this tip to try and quite my left arm, and keep my right shoulder from rilling over.
This video is awesome honestly because I do this exact same thing! Literally to a t… I’m going to use this and try to practice and get better. Hope after first of the year financially I can join the membership! Love these videos!!
Great tip. I tried it tonight on league and it was so much easier to get the ball to the right. By the way, very cool stuff coming to the app in the next couple weeks. You will be able to take video of yourself and it will analyze it and give your rev rate, axis tilt, rotation, and speed. It will also analyze your swing giving you tips to improve.
Definitely something I struggle with as well and it explains A LOT about my misses. Great content and appreciate you letting us in on your journey Brad!
I love how all these Bowling channels are almost coming together to finally take all the stupid nonsense that has held bowlers back for decades (don't drop your shoulder, lift the ball at the release, timing is determined at the pushaway) and telling it to F**k right off back to 1977. Never stop makin awesome content like this, guys!
Damn this video came up just after my session today and me having trouble to open up my angle with the ball. Gotta try this for my league night later tonight
Mannnn I never thought about this so glad to see this video because that's my problem with my power of speed I be inconsistent on my speed & didn't really know why. Sweet I do now.
I saw that thumbnail, and I wondered who does that? I've never noticed anyone doing that. Then I watched my last recording, and I do. It's the slowest, Naruto, approach. I'm so focused on my hand and release, I never thought about this and why it might be detrimental, thanks for sharing this!
Thank you for the knowledge transfer 🙏 My biggest problem is leaving 7 pins in league 😕 I never leave them in practice. Get on the fresh and leave 3-4 seven pins a series. Also... For me. The right spare ball has been such a positive for my game (10 pins) lol
As a one hand no thumb, I do a swim move with my left arm. As I drop down on the initial steps, my arm goes behind. It then goes back in front as I get ready to release the ball and goes back behind me on the release. My left arm also goes more down while going back than going straight out. Maybe that helps me keep the ball closer to my body?
Well, I'll try this tonight in our 10 min practice before league starts. My biggest issue is my thumb and thumbhole. Its very inconsistent, and the 2 balls I use for my "strike balls" are drilled exactly the same yet I cant even use my asymetric ball because my thumb is sticking in it so I'm pulling that ball. My hustle is coming out great after about 4-5 shots, which is great, so I can now try this lesson tonight.
What I want is for bowling youtubers to band together against sliding. If I was as good as B&K and had enough time/energy/money/resources whatever to do the research on it I would totally make a series entitled "Sliding Sucks."

We appreciate you!
I watched this video this morning, worked on my form to follow this and shot 231/237/230. Great video
Thank you, thank you!

We'll be happy to have you! Let's get to work 💪🏼

I knew that I wasn't doing this correctly, but I didn't know what a big difference it would make if I correct it.
You just explained my issue and the solution. Now time to go to alley and attempt! Thank you!
Just had a private lesson last week and this is what my coach picked up on with me. The “feel vs reality” quote was spot on.
What was crazy to me is the parallel between a football throw and the bowling release. They are the same, just upside down. Thank you for this video.
Baseball too
"Bowling jail" The story of my bowling life right now.
I made this change a few weeks ago, and i absolutely feel like my last two steps in the approach have a LOT more power. My ball motion is also more forward and is clearing the deck a lot cleaner too.
Excellent teaching on this important part of the swing. Something I need to work on a lot more.
This is exactly the tip I needed! I started getting my shoulder in front of me due to an injury and did not realize I had retained this bad habit! I’ll definitely try to keep my shoulders in sync.
Great stuff Brad and Coach Daniel. Thanks for this type of content. More please. 😊
This is extremely helpful - Great Video 😊
Thanks for the tip. I will try it at the next practice session.
LOVE THIS TIP. all makes complete sense. And sometimes catch myself having trouble getting the ball out. Really great!!
Yes that was very helpful!!!
This is totally my issue currently too. And its causing me to not be consistent. I'm gonna definitely keep this in mind and try this. Thanks so much.
Fantastic information, thanks guys!
Great video, very informative. Missing left is one of my biggest issues. Will use this tip to try and quite my left arm, and keep my right shoulder from rilling over.

Great teaching video 👍🏽
I respect that you share this lesson with your audience, a good coach is essential to being the best you can be in this great sport.
Great Informations...thanks😊

These types of videos are great, shows you a more advanced lesson which you don’t find anywhere else very often

This is awesome! I struggle for speed. Im a big guy and roll the ball FAST so I am bowling through my break
Damn this video came up just after my session today and me having trouble to open up my angle with the ball. Gotta try this for my league night later tonight
Great information! Thank you!
I can relate to this video so much. Always looked like my left arm was broken bowling. That thing was flying all around.😂
BowlU calls this “waiting on the weight”. You can’t cheat the chain (Kinetic Chain).
Mannnn I never thought about this so glad to see this video because that's my problem with my power of speed I be inconsistent on my speed & didn't really know why. Sweet I do now.
Well, that's something I didn't realize I needed to work on. Damn.
Excellent video that explains why I'm struggling to project the ball farther down lane. My shoulders and torso are out sync 😢😅😊
I saw that thumbnail, and I wondered who does that? I've never noticed anyone doing that. Then I watched my last recording, and I do. It's the slowest, Naruto, approach. I'm so focused on my hand and release, I never thought about this and why it might be detrimental, thanks for sharing this!
Big big like
I will also try this.
At the moment of release the left shoulder should be horizontally in line with the right one ( like the wings of a plane)
Thanks for the coaching tips. I will let you know how this works for a person that's 59 years old. Can I do it? haha
Thank you for the knowledge transfer 🙏

Awesome video, definitely will benifit from this tutorial thanks 🎳
Holy knowledge bombs. Does he coach on thr side?

How much does Daniel charge on the side for coaching?

this does make sense for a1 hander, but how can this be translated to the 2 handed game since the balance arm is not able to be used until release?
I would think since your hands are connected to the ball your shoulders would be in sync.
@jayveebee1076 so the 2 handed game would see a less exaggerated mechanic than 1 handed?
I don't think it's possible for you to rotate the left shoulder early because the left hand is still attached to the ball.
@@AverageLeagueHack that makes sense
2handers do this automatically pretty much.
hell yeah
So are you going to win that first title next year Brad? I hope so.
you can whip and nay nay
Cool video talk tech bowling ball Brad and Kyle
I like doing things the wrong way 😁
How much does Daniel charge on the side for coaching?
Current rate is $120 for 1 hour... Or you could get his coaching all year long + a bowling ball for $375 if you join the Bowl Like A Pro membership!
