    Awesome, thanks. I've just bought their CSL LC brake spring thanks to hearing about them via this video.

    I really spend too much time looking at new pedals when I know for a fact my Logitechs aren’t getting replaced until they catch fire, break in half, and get teleported to the Twilight Zone. But when that happens this looks like a cool upgrade. I will be academically interested when (if) you test the Elite V2 set and relate these to those.

    • @SimRacingCorner
      @SimRacingCorner  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I already have a queue of pedal reviews on the go. So I can't consider adding the Elite V2 pedals to that plan any time soon.

    Thanks for the review. I ended up swapping the original top part of the throttle and clutch pedals so the throttle would have a heavier spring, then I only needed to buy the clutch mod.

    Great review! Thank you very much for taking the time to test and share your thoughts on this mod. I found your earlier videos about this mod and I am honestly very excited about it.
    Even now that Fanatec has released the Elites V2, I feel the regular CSL + RSE Kit is a better value. The lack of a better clutch on the CSL V2s is disappointing.
    For context, I have been using the old CSR Elite pedals since 2015, as I got them for $150 a couple of months before they went out of production and they have worked very well for many years. Since I am on a very tight budget, I can't go as high as V3s or above as much as I would like to. I don't really need to change my current pedals (yet), but it is good to know that this type of option is available.
    I have 2 questions though.
    1. I understand they are priced different, but is the RSE Kit worth the extra cash over the 3DRap Throttle and Clutch inserts?
    2. Clutch aside, which one would you prefer? TLCM with bushing mods or CSL with RSE kit + 3DRap LC Elastomer?

    • @SimRacingCorner
      @SimRacingCorner  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Here's my answers...
      1. The RSE kit is certainly going to outlast the 3DRAP MOD, so I would say it's a better buy over the long-term.
      2. The modded TLCM brake vs. CSL + Elastomer mod, the results are pretty similar. I think they are both good. But The CSL pedals, being all metal, I feel are a better overall for sturdiness. And indeed have lots more options for modding, which is a bonus too.

    Enjoy every video, which I seen so far, you’re doing great job. But this kit doesn’t make sense to me. Cost over £80 plus delivery then even used csl load cell that something like £40 at least if you lucky find one and basics set of pedals CSL that’s £50 on second market we got them all together, you can pay a bit extra and buy clubsport V3 for £200 - £250 second hand which are much more superior in every aspect. I just ordered DD pro 5NM kit, and only looking for some 10 quid upgrade to these pedals before I will look for v3 bargain.

    • @SimRacingCorner
      @SimRacingCorner  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can hear the clutch make a noise in the video (2:34). The throttle is silent. The 3DRAP mods are good, the throttle mods give a similar result. For the clutch mod, this one is better. And it's all metal over plastic, so this will not wear out.

    • @SimRacingCorner
      @SimRacingCorner  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The 3RAP mod has significantly more tension than the rc-damper. Personally, I'd go with the 3RAP mod. The curve is a nice feature, but not essential.

      @@SimRacingCorner Just a quick update regarding my findings. Since I’m not a very patient guy and a very curious one, I ended up switching brake pedal and the throttle pedal.
      Using my logic, the brake pedal doesn’t really need the stiff torsion spring as the red spring and elastomer is much stiffer rendering the torsion spring useless. And I find the stiffness of the brake’s torsion spring is just nice to use as throttle.
      The only downside to this is that on Moza PitHouse, now the brake and throttle pedal is switched up, but since we’re using PC it’s easily switchable in the game’s options and settings.
      Sorry if its quite long but does it make sense(?) So far, I’ve been liking this setup. Maybe it can be useful to those who are hesitant in spending more for mods.
      Cheers! ✌🏻

      You can do this yourself. If you ever wanted a 3d printer and just needed a hook to grab your focus then: Their "honeycomb" marketing term is actually part of most 3d printed parts. Its a software setting in the "slicer" called "infill" and its configurable. You can even switch from "honeycomb" to triangles, squares, hedrons, ect.... Literally anyone with a printer capable of using TPU, a few tools to measure, and Tinkercad could reproduce these things all day long for pennies each.... If you made your own you could adjust the density of the infill pattern to get just the right amount of feedback. Total investment of time and money, $300-$3000 (300 for smart DIYers, 3k for point and clickers), 4 hours. After which each part would take 30 minutes to print.
