I remember when The Looney tune show came out and people were hating how different it was from the usual , felt like i was one of the few people at the time who enjoyed it at the time , so im pretty glad that its nowadays getting the love and appreciation it deserves.

You mentioned being confused by Daffy not recognizing Foghorn in “Working Duck.” That’s because “Working Duck” is chronologically before “The Foghorn Leghorn Story.” If you re-watch that episode, when Daffy first goes to audition you’ll notice Carol says to Foghorn “sir, that’s the idiot who destroyed your company.” I’m not sure why they aired out of order. I was confused my first couple viewings before I noticed it. I figured I would let you know since you’re into the lore! Hope to see a part two soon

Possible explanation for Daffy not knowing who Foghorn is in Working Duck, in the foghorn movie episode his assistant brings up how daffy destroyed his company yet that happens in Working Duck so they had most likely fucked up the episode order and swapped them around so Foghorn's actual introduction episode is now for whatever reason in the second half of the season
I remember my school use to give out magazines every week and one had a section with an interview with the character designer and she talked about the negative reaction. I remember feeling so bad for her because if anyone should get hate it’s the WB for wanting the series in the first place. I’m glad this show aged better with time it was one of the few shows that all my siblings enjoyed watching
The hate that this show received was similar to the hate _Rise of the TMNT_ received upon it's release a few years ago. (I think 2018?) And also the same type of hate that the updated _Sailor Moon: Crystal_ received back in 2014. The thing that *REALLY* annoys me about this is the way people complain *ALL THE TIME* about wanting something "new" and about how they are tired of all the "remakes" and "reboots", yet when they finally _do_ get something new, they *IMMEDIATELY REJECT IT* and complain about how "different" it is, how it's #notmy[insert whatever property the person is b¡tch¡ng about] how it's not just a carbon copy of the one that came before it. There actually is a forth 1 year time skip in season 2 where Lola spends a whole year in like a wired temple or something after receiving what she thinks is a dear John letter. After disappearing Bugs gets her letter goes to look for her but he like becomes like a sailer and Daffy is literally just left at home by himself for a year and does not seem phased by anything despite be left to fend for himself at home for an entire god damn year. The episode ends with Lola hunting down bugs on jet skis. So all of these time skips add up to the show by the end taking place in around 2015, Jesus Christ theses writers do not give to shits.
Deadass tho this show was my PEAK! They killed one of the best takes on the looney tunes characters with heartfelt AND funny moments with a good balance of both 🙏🏾‼️
IIRC, Casa De Calma was made as a pilot episode for Laff Riot, when the show was still meant to be slapstick-y, but it was reused (with some new added scenes) for TLTS, which is why it stands out so much.
i used to watch this show sometimes at my grandma's house when i was younger and liked the show a ton. And you'd expect that when i come back to the show a couple years later that it would be kinda cringe, but no! it has both comedy for younger viewers and older viewers! its basically is always kinda a good show no matter how old you are! so in my opinion, its an 11/10.
