      Sir, can it fit as a personal item at Spirit airlines used as a 30L and not fully packed?

    Everything about that Backpack looks well thought out. So much organization you feel unorganized if you move something to a different pocket..

      It’s SO GOOD! I have been testing backpacks for years, and this one meets my needs and exceeds them. But I am a camera and gear nerd and probably have unique interests. 😆

    Damn ice storm. My bag didn’t arrive and my last minute Osprey 46L . The damn computer in the computer pouch broke my charge chord. I didn’t want Osprey because of the poor security for my laptop 💻. Now I have to bring a 2nd bag for my computer due to not trusting Osprey. 😢😢😢😢😢 my Sage Green bag didn’t arrive. Now I’m off to Costa Rica for 5 weeks with a bag I dislike the super poor on organization even with buying the Thule compression bags at REI. I couldn’t even get the Patagonia 45L or Cotopaxi 42L because they were sold out

    Do medium size boxes (like let's say a lunch Big box) fit in the smaller middle pocket where you had the 360 camera and the selfie stick?

    • @Engearment
      @Engearment  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good question! You can expand that pocket an additional 5l or so. I can fit soft sided organizer packs no problem. I dont think you could pull off a hard sided lunch box. I many have to shoot another video showing the various set ups you can do with this pack. I am SO impressed with it.

    Two questions. Do you use the additional rain cover? How would one ever lock up all those zippers if they had to check the bag on a flight?
    Always appreciate your good reviews. Thank you.

    • @Engearment

      Hello! Great questions! 1) I have not used a rain cover for this yet. For the kind of snow and rain we get in Denver, this has been fine. 2) I have not flown with this, so I am not sure how that would work. I would love it if someone in the audience could chip in on the second question. Thanks for the good questions!

    • @lamrof

      it doesn't get dirty easy and yes it can be configured from 30L, 35L and 45L.

    just got the medium cube... is the backpack the same material?

    • @Engearment
      @Engearment  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Nice! It’s a perfect size for most camera gear.
      The backpack is even more burly than the cube. It has a durable coating on it that has been very weather resistant.

    Great review bro. It's because of you, I bought the Gregory Targhee 32 in Lava Red. Anyhow, I'm seriously looking at purchasing this bag, but wanted to know if you had any issues with the zippers coming apart or not working. Eagerly waiting for your response.

    • @Engearment
      @Engearment  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey friend! Thanks for the nice note! Really stoked you got the Targhee 32. That is my favorite hiking pack of the last year!
      Dude, the PD 45 is the BEST camera bag. I actually use it as my go-to. I know I get to test a lot of packs, and 99% of them are great. But the PD 45L is the best. The design, the function and zippers are all good. I really hope it treats you as well as the Targhee 32 has!

    Will the airlines actually let you carry that on board? It looks massive and I can see them saying you have to check it.

      Same question no one answers, can it fit as a personal item at Spirit airlines used as a 30L and not fully packed? It seems it does but someone has to prove it.

    Which color do you prefer, Sage or Black?

    • @Engearment
      @Engearment  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh man. I love the sage. Have the 25l, duffle and organizers in that color.
      The black looks nice and low key though. So I am very happy with it.
      If you are open to color, the Sage is even more attractive in person 👌

    While it might be good for photographers etc, Not very good for majority of travellers. The Osprey Farpoint 40 is better, cheaper and lighter and more practical. It meets all airlines carryon. The back panel can be fully covered by a stowaway zippered cover.

    • @Engearment
      @Engearment  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh ya. I got you covered on another pack next week. The Eagle Creek Tour. Much more your style.
      I love this PD pack. It covers all I need.

      @@EngearmentThis pack was covered by 2 other TH-camrs. I rather spend more money one time than buy a new bag every 1-2 years. The 45L is large for a digital nomad. I wish it was 50-55 but beggars can’t be choosers.

    • @TheRealUncensoredTravelGuide
      @TheRealUncensoredTravelGuide ปีที่แล้ว

      I’ll have to look at that backpack but I rather buy 1 bag for 10 years than purchase a new one every 1-2 years. Comes down to math and if you’re willing to spend less than a dollar per day for the one thing that I’ll use most as a Digital Nomad and Contractor.

    Which 40-45liter travel backpack do you recommend?

    • @Engearment
      @Engearment  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I use the heck out of the PD 45L. Just took it to a backcountry shoot outside of Sante Fe this weekend. It is always packed and ready to go. I have a video coming up on a new camera-based 40+ liter pack here soon as well.... :)

  • @sashinger5230

    I loved the look, the flexibility and the materials of this pack from the beginning. But I‘ve always been hesitating in terms of comfort. I mean this thing still looks so darn good, its beauty almost offends me. 😂
    I already have the 35L Duffel and all the accessories. If they just put a decent harness system and load lifters on it this pack could have been the gold standard of hybrid traveling for decades. Thx for the video! 💪

    • @Engearment
      @Engearment  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes! Load lifers are what I think the pack needs. They also have hip belts but I did not touch on that. I missed that opportunity LOL

    • @mrheikkipekka

      Funny I stumbled on this - they just finished their newest Kickstarter campaign coming out with a Outdoor Backpack having better harness system and load lifters. Will have to check that out myself. Using their 35L and 65L Duffels as well when moving with train or car, and having a roller camera bag from Manfrotto that I use for most of the time for work. That Outdoor Backpack will be interesting to try out.

      Hello! I do not see or feel a metal frame. But the backpack retains its shape, even fully loaded.
