@@ShiNijuuAKL If it had been me I would have called he bluff and then called the police and told them what she had said she was going to do to herself. Then sat back and watched the show.
It’s nearly impossible to not say something in anger, I don’t think that can be taken back However, her fury at her mother’s betrayal in defending her sister and boyfriend’s betrayal after everything she did for her mother? Totally justified and understandable I don’t foresee a happy ending here, it might be best for everyone if they just leave this broken family broken, and everyone goes no contact with each other
The sister "Ally" and ex-boyfriend "Robbie" are pathetic, but the mother is absolutely pretty much admitting she herself cheated on the OP's father. That most likely was why the mom attempted suicide two years ago, and most likely why the father was wanting the divorce. That "Ally" wanted an "open relationship" with her ex shows she is broken in ways that are not the OP's responsibility. The problem with what the OP said wasn't that she is an AH, because she isn't, but that the mother clearly believes "Ally" is some kind of victim, which she isn't.. and frankly neither is the mom.
She said that because she feels betrayed by her mother who believed her sister and took her sister's side then her her boyfriend which is one thing a sibling should never do is it go after another someone's boyfriend then she took the sister's side and let's not forget she called at the wrong time
Fair enough. Her mom betrayed her by defending that good for nothing cheater. Maybe if she offed herself back, then she wouldn't have to feel doubly betrayed now. 😅 There are consequences to every decision. Let that disgusting woman and her cheating daughter think. Who was it that comforted her when she needed it. Now she won't even return it. 🤷🏿♀️
Anytime someone defends a cheater is usually one of 2 things: - The person has a bias its possible to fix that fuck up (either due to wanting kids or some other family related reason) - The person has cheated before or is currently cheating.
Honestly its bad what op said but op was the one who helped her mum get better so for her mum to betray her is awful mum know about the cheating but kept quiet and let it be that unacceptable
Was wrong and she put herself into a bad light, she should said something along the lines of why dad is still married to a woman who supports cheating and that he should be worried too.
My mother could say horrible things in the heat of temper . Things like she wished she'd never adopted me. I was ugly fat and fit for nothing. She wouldn't mean them, but that didn't stop the words from hurting me. She also told me she loved me , i was a great help , i eas very clever, etc. I had low selfcesteem and was being badly bullied in school. The bad things were easier to belive . As justfied as op was to get angry, make sure you can live with the outcome of your words.
The idea that people need the internet to determine whether they’re an AH or not blows my mind. I knew I was an AH in 10th grade. I didn’t need the internet to tell me. Lol
what op said was bad but she regretted immediately... but not sure if her mom really understood the daughter who helped her get better. It's totally biased and unacceptable. op should break up with her bf and go nc with that sister
U shouldnt have said what u did but u need to distance urself from ur mom and bad sis... they r going to make u go crazy from all this drama. U already no they do not care about ur feelings so the decision wont b that hard. Next time they scream they r going to off themselves call emergency services or a wellfare check. Mom and sis can look after each other now since they r so chummy.
Ouch, that was really harsh! It's understandable for being pissed. Everyone else in the world is horrified, and she new and just let it go, like no bog deal! Put your thoughts in a letter, maybe if she reads your feelings. Just a thought. Good luck!
Telling her that may be a bit too much. But screw your ex, screw your sister and screw your mom. "It wasn't my fault" my @ss. Cheating is allways a choice, not a mistake.
defending a cheater is a clear sign that that persons also a cheater and I have rather cold opinion and that….. Don’t feel guilty about being cruel to someone who betrayed in such a way.
No you shouldn't. You should wish them long life. Long life alone in pain, without home or love, long life where ending it all would be a relief. Long life where every breath is agony.
yeah she went too far. her bf cheated with her sister, not her mother. even if she told her sister to kill herself, that's still too far, but since she said it to someone who didnt cheat, it's def too far
Her mom cheated on her dad, bet on it. And no she's not wrong for saying what she said to her mom.
yeah, she did the "I will kill myself" strategy so that her husband didn't divorce her 😭😭

Sounds like one cheater defending another
Yeeeeeeah, it kindda does, doesnt it...
i know right
Mom's a cheater too 100%. Also, go do some DNA testing.
Poor OP, half her family is efed up.
Imagine the mom slept with him as well and that is why she was defending him. LOL

Wrong, but justified. OP feels bad and that shows she's not normally an AH. But when enraged like that, anyone could be.

If she didn't understand before, she surely understands now what it feels to be betrayed 😂

Bingo.
Suicide. There, someone said it.

Its a nasty thing you said. But it may be the only thing you could have said to effectively communicate to your mother how hurt you are.

It's much nicer than what I'd say

You should never wish death on anyone no matter what they have done
What about pedos/r@p!sts
No you shouldn't. You should wish them long life. Long life alone in pain, without home or love, long life where ending it all would be a relief. Long life where every breath is agony.
Depends. 99% you shouldn’t but there are people who just don’t deserve to live. I bet you wouldn’t say the same if someone kill your love one.
