Why would it be "illegal" not to be connected? Lots of people in remote locations have a bore hole rather than piped water. Lots of people have solar panels. Why should it be mandatory to be connected to services you don't require??

@@bakedbean37 No, you're misunderstanding what I'm saying. You asked what is *legally* stopping them and the answer is that you can't legally live on a property that only has composting toilets. I'm not saying it's a law I agree with, but it's the legal answer to your question. For a property to be legally considered a permanent dwelling, it has to have a proper sewage system. It doesn't have to be in every building on the property however, which is likely how these people handle that law.
@@MonstaMunch101 "In 2010, the Building Regulations for England were changed to permit composting toilets as part of a drive to reduce domestic water consumption. Life in the countryside ❤ I would love to try that out for sure. My dream is to be out of the city council flat and live within nature and learn to be self sufficient. Thank you for sharing xx
This is nice.
Unfortunately in the US, the cost of living at an intentional community is also very expensive...
So lovely..the way one should live. I like the tent life style.
glad to hear you can live like that there.
Having a boat house seems cool as well.
What about food, where do they get it from, they have no transport to reach the shops. A big eater like myself would suffer out there. I would need a patch of land on the allotment the size of a football field to grow the food.
Delivered bud, I was a bodybuilder meaning I eat 5 times a day, I live like this... just get grub delivered from Tesco, Dunnes or similar, just do a bulk shop twice a week
Grocery stores deliver here
Plenty of food there.
Don’t be so greedy then.
Its really the answer to the question, why the birth rates among native Brits have declined to extinction levels.
The greatest luxury is Freedom and time and people are starved of it
Enjoyed this video. Thank you. We see there are alternatives to living in sticks and stones.
no you not note on website when moving they use spotters and you have to provide proof of paid for moorings if you have it
England's equipment to America slab city
Please check your spelling before posting, you may offend someone (heaven forbid!) and, if you're in Scotland, end up in jail !
Ilike that lifestyles.so simple.God bless
Two things you can get rid of without moving your feet, wants and greed, when you do ,you're needs are cherished,
There is a massive issue with air.b and b houses, 4 houses big enough for up to 6 children families in my street are now temporary holiday home, it should be illegal
Great ideea greetings from united States of America i have a home hut taxes this year went up again help me god its hard and 12 oets i oove but one just oassed away im sad this Christmas 🎄⛄🎄🎄 cant enjoy it ...yes huge more freedom ww need it
I love the concept of this. I just hope the government didn't cotton on so they start charging people for the "privilège " of building a community
A good way to live
Government won't let people live in woods. They will say it's illegal,
The first place I would easily live there, in nature. I tried todo do it, bought 3/4 of an acre of land with an old house. It's quite pleasant, but there is still rural activity all around me. Too many tractors, machines and destruction of nature.
The British imposed a hut tax on the Sierra Leonean people during colonial days leading to a war when the natives revolted against the tax. All is now history, but at least I now know how the taxation idea originated.
Look up Magna Carta for your enlightenment...its a tax charter...
This is the way thanks for a wonderfil inspiring video.
This is brilliant , respect 💯
This man , is a gem 💎

This is very nice but i would die of cold out there but bless them all
Am going there brilliant
I cant believe that Tipi Valley is legally permitted to not be connected to town water and electricity!! How is that possible?
Why would it be "illegal" not to be connected?
Lots of people in remote locations have a bore hole rather than piped water.
Lots of people have solar panels.
Why should it be mandatory to be connected to services you don't require??
@@bakedbean37 Because there are laws around sanitation and against permanent campsites. In order to be allowed to do what they've done, they have to have toilets with proper plumbing. Being off grid that means there must be septic tanks. They aren't free.
@@MonstaMunch101 "they have to have toilets with proper plumbing. "
You've never heard of composting toilets?
Septic tanks may not be free but who said they can't afford one? Just has to be emptied once a year.
Same as the solar panels. Some up front cost but you save in the long run.
"there are laws around sanitation and against permanent campsites."
Which law or laws specifically can you identify being breached here.
Is this place a designated "permanent campsite"?
Gut instincts don't count.
There may be planning and building regulations to navigate, but they are legal."
Septic tanks are legal too. Rules apply but they are legal. Just as with the composting toilets.
They are legal because they are (if up to code) "proper" sewage systems.
Sign off the times eh im a seventy three year old guy and av invested in a summer house in my daughters garden im living in ther now not that its what ar want at my age but rents cost of living energy bills we need a litle bit off quality off life wen we retire not just lay down and die like ther wud like us to

You most certainly DON'T need to notify anyone when you move your boat around. 😂😂😂
I love it ✌️☘️
Some very good future thoughts❤
How I wish we lived there!
Brill doc👏🤝✌️🕊
They quote way too low on the rents and house prices. Average rent now is £2100-2600. Average house prices are £700,000.
I looked into buying a boat to live on but found the new fees for boat owners has just ruined it . Anything that's a bargain or worth doing is ruined by greedy government who just keep taking till there's nothing left ....
Yeah 12k a year is extortionate
It’s not a shortage of housing in this country. Right-move is filled with houses for sale but prices are plucked out of a hat by greedy agents and sellers and so long as people with a lot of money keep paying those ridiculous asking prices, the problem wont go away.
Land Tax is the New Surf rent , IMHO .
How beautiful ❤
Imagine a nations workforce & well being
If all companies employers & governments
had to help each employee own their home
without any depth and worry of losing it
You'd have an unstoppable workforce
A satisfied & happy individual & society
And in return families and couples will
become stronger & happier in themselves
This is how nations will heal and prosper
Fair is fair society i call it
Has anyone studied the impact of high immigration on wages and housing prices and availability?
Don't be daft - that would go against the narrative we are all force fed..................diversity is a strength you know ( a term made up by the happy-clappy looooonie left ).
It's obvious it makes rich people richer by increasing demand for houses and putting the value of their property up.
