- I had a lot of people asking about the best way to tame a high level Fasolasuchus, I know a taming guide is a little late but I really wanted to add a QUICK & EASY In-depth Taming GUIDE, to make our life a whole lot easier when trying to find and KO that high level we are all so desperate for!

Very nice guide.
If the 16 waypoints are not enough (our server spawns up to 300) or you found a good one far away from your mapped route, it is easy to two man it. While your friend is scouting the next salt/sulfur spot you just need to play for time. When down to a quarter of the control bar, hit one salt. Unless the Faso plays pinball during the post bonk out of control window and cleans a spot out you can buy your friend a couple minutes to find the next in range cluster. Repeat as needed.
Distance wise we shoot for 600 meters or less between salt deposits. 800 meters starts getting a bit unreliable for me -- maybe the up and down of rolling dunes brings variability to the range you can get before losing control?
And yeah, you will get dismounted a few times when you should not have been. Running with ghillie and cactus broth will break agro pretty quickly. No worries. Unlike some other tames with atypical methods, this is just the knockout phase. You aren't losing any taming effectiveness from being dismounted. Taming effectiness worries don't kick until it is knocked out and you start the feeding.
Have found the miserable beasts will sometimes brainlock and will start a long march back to their original location. Just tromping in a straight line. If it starts this, reaggro and break aggro. Again and again. Will eventually get its brain back and bury itself in its current location instead of the long march home.
Oh, and don't stress the grenade stage. Even without ghillie and cactus broth, they really do have a short aggro range when in sand pile mode. You don't have to tiptoe to the very edge of grenade throwing range. Run on in and have an easy toss.
NOOBLETS should be taking notes (440k subs btw) AND a 23 minute video to tame one with no where near as good information as this packed into an 8 minute video. Thanks Bey!

Steve doesn't seem to have the same passion for ark like he used to, and I don't blame him. I do agree though this is better than the one done by nooblets. But nooblets and Teach are my go to sources.

Excellent guide. I hope more people realize how easy they are to tame if you know what you are doing, even on Official. There’s so many people think that it takes several hours to knock out a high level. I quite like taming these guys. I like having interesting taming methods thrown in here and there to break the monotony of tranquilize and feed tames.

If your playing on official, and the server pop is High bring your wyvern with you since they render very far at all times

@@BEYPlaysGames yea my first was a lvl 25 lol I was searching for more then a hour and just got fed up and tamed the 25 and realized that I in fact wasn’t ready nor have the patience for a high lvl. Well now I have that 130 perfect tame and I’m never even gonna attempt to tame a high lvl again 😂
@@King_Natha99 Haha I felt that way until I had the Roo following me and began using way points, but yeah finding one is also such a pain in the bum! I won't tame any more once I get a breeding pair at least XD

Easily the best and easiest guide to follow! Definitely going to use a ROO next time. I usually use a flyer but yeah it ain't the best, died a few times due to them not keeping up or just being too high in the air to jump on quickly haha, great video!!

Good stuff.. I hadnt thought about using a roo... been having argies and moths follow me.. but usually leave them in the dust (pardon the pun) once the faso gets going. Thanks!
Thanks! I tried it on foot the first time haha, never again! The Roo has been my favourite tame for so many reasons on this map! No problem! :D
Just a quick tip don't run into salt nodes head on clip em with the side of the Faso as to reduce the chance of being arked out of the sand

Is there a way that you could make artifact guides for the island, scorched earth and the future maps as well? There are a few tutorials here already, but nothing can beat the quality of your videos and I'm sure your cave guides would be the best!! And maybe where all loot crate can possibly spawn?
3 days ago I had to see that you can't use scuba gear in the swamp cave anymore. I tried multiple mixs and combinations but I take damage everytime. I know the gas mask works pretty good, but getting back pearls is kinda hard.
Do you know if that's a bug that needs to be fixed or is it intented?

Bring a shovel for water just in case u run out of tamed a 150 on 1x official took forever
I recommend a Rhynio if you have one. If you fly sideways the Faso can’t bite you, and it’ll save time

If ypu carry preserving salts while carrying prime meat, does it last longer? By the time I carry prime meat to try and tame it's already spoiled. Even when giving it to a tame it doesn't last long enough for them to eat it.
Yeah they do, Vulture is also great for preserving Prime meat, if you have one...let it harvest the corpse, will last for around 1 hour inside a Vulture! Are you starve taming it also? will be a lot easier if not, let its food drop a decent amount then gather a bunch of Prime in one go and it'll eat it all in a oner XD
How do u not get dizzy when dehydrated. Or get any visual signs when youre too hot. Is there a way to disable those?
You mean heatstroke? Stick a canteen in a fridge and drink ice cold water or stick a tent down and stand in that for abit :)
The left side of map has tons of salt. Thats where i tame them

Bro suggested we pre 30 grenades and then proceeded to only need 3, technically 2 because he dismounted on purpose the first time.
Haha, only because I found 1 close to my waypoints, will need a lot more if you need to bait it to your preferred area in the desert!
Ive gave up on this,ive farmed many salt nodes with them,highest ive got was like 40%.
Have you tried using the route in the video? With spots waypointed up? It’s really good! It’s not that difficult using this same route, he had it knocked out in 10 mins!!
You've got this! I believe!! South and South-east salt, mark them all up and it's so much easier, took me 3 hours on my first attempt and i still failed, after planning out a route with waypoints and hitting all 16 marked waypoints it will either KO or will be super close to KO, I did this 145 after 15 salt locations, still had 1 left to go and that's not counting the spots I couldn't mark up!
They do not only spawn in the dunes I found one yesterday in the midlands area
It's probably the only section inland that classes as a desert, think it's the southern dunes (doesn't look like a desert either) but Mantis, Arthros and other desert creatures also spawn in that area, it looked more like a desert in ASE though!
What are they even used for?
Well they are amazing for gathering flint! I'd say they are a decent battle mount, I definitely prefer a lot of other creatures overr the Fasola though!
