Barrier islands are sandbars. Sandbars are within the parameters of the ocean as this video clearly demonstrates. If you live on a sandbar in the ocean, this is to be expected. this video illustrates what is supposed to happen, and thank you for your efforts for posting this video.

My old place is at the 39.32 mark - I'm sure it got flooded 1st flood and about 300ft from the water - Probably gone after Milton since most of those properties are wood frame built in the 70s

You drive too fast and you should show the street signs that would show the names of the streets. I lived there and it doesn't even look familiar because of the way you presented it. If you drive like that when you drive your Uber customers, Lord help them. I did not get anything out of this video.
One: i am not the one driving. 2. Were going far below the speed limit you can even hear people honking the horn trying to get us to go faster. Its an optical illusion because the garbage by the road makes it seam like everything is rushing by.
