Try pairing these with Hegel's H390 integrated and I can tell you somehow the sonic sound that comes out is pretty unique? To me it sounds fantastic! To be honest, a good integrated will do to drive this fabulous speakers. Stick to 8 ohms for the sweet spot and yes, you have to place this speaker at least 2 feet minimum from the wall in order to hear the best out of them. That tweeter is so so sweet, never harsh or over powering. As if it flows with the music effortlessly. I hooked it up with my friend's Naim Muso and it still sounds great as well. Fixtures in your hall or room plays an important criteria in sound resonance. The more wood, less concrete is better

Very nice video.. Wish there was more info on the Tweeter. How does it differ from B&w and past Sonos faber tweeters?

Hi iam, thanks for your post. The Amati Generation V video mostly focused on the changes from previously, they changed almost everything - except the tweeter. It is the same silk dome with neodymium magnets that they used in the prior Amati. The DAD technology keeps the peak of the tweeter from exhibiting anti-phase behavior and keeps the high end more linear in the response that reaches your ears. Enjoy your day

I would like to review it! Last time I did comparo between Stenheim and Sonus Faber. Stenheim won. Now Sonus in G5 I would to see if it can take the crown.😊

Thanks for the video. But now I have a big problem. I must choose now between the Amati G5 or the B&W 801 D4. Do you have an opinion ? My Configuration : Mcintosh C12000 + Mcintosh MC462 + Mcintosh MCD 12000 + AURENDER N20 + CLEARAUDIO OVATION.

This is just my personal opinion therefore take it with a grain of salt. Both would be excellent, though with that setup I'm favoring the Amati G5. However I highly recommend listening carefully to both before making a decision. Follow your ears.

You won't meet anyone who has the same amount of belief and conviction for his brand than Will. He is first a true lover of Italian speaker craft before he is an employee.

@@TheChianello Own? No, but he is the Global Training Manager. His job is to travel around the world to educate dealers and even customers on what makes Sonus faber what it is, from the technology, to the design, and the philosophy. It is an awesome profession but a very demanding one. With the ability and qualifications to hold a global position with such a prestigious company, and to do it as well as he does, why would he just disingenuously go through the motions without any real conviction. A man like him could lend his service to virtually any Hi-Fi company. Why do you think he does it for Sonus faber? Hi-Fi is a business of passion. I've sat through a lot of vendor provided trainings in my time. Nobody does it like Will. I am really not joking when I call him the "warrior poet" of Hi-Fi. His ability to translate the technical into the artistic, and the empirical into the emotional is unmatched.

@@GramophoneMD The sound is really bad. Not natural. Low volume, I increased the volume and I've heard a lot of low frequencys and a lot of high pitch sss. This didn't happen with other TH-cam channels.
