Great video Peter! ❤ Oz and I always enjoy your videos and your attention to detail. Although we love the over the top Farcus decor on the older Carnival ships, I think this one looks lovely (minus Cherry on Top). I would definitely sail on her. Caio for now!! Cheryl
Thank you, Russ! LOL, that little barb about Cherry On Top seems to have registered with a lot of watchers. I just don't know how anyone could want to buy a bunch of candy on top of all the sugary things that are perpetually available for no charge. They must have a deal with Ozempic.
Loved the dining room, the chandeliers were just gorgeous. Very nice to see that Carnival kept some Italian look to the ship. I loved seeing the passenger accomodations and the lounges. Most of all, the real star was seeing the QUEEN MARY. I enjoyed your tour of the ship. 🤗💕🌹
Hi Peter. The ship looks lovely. And yes, the Joe Farcus Dining room is beautiful. But I was glad for the whole ship not to be totally "off the wall Farcus." A pleasant surprise for sure. I think she will do well on the West Coast. Long beach has a stories past with ships, yes? Two ends of the spectrum, The Queen Mary to Firenze !! Thanks for the tour.
Well done, as always. Great 2.5-day turnaround on getting it edited and posted, too. I'd go on it, just a matter of catching the right deal and itinerary at the right time. But there are so many ships and unpredictable deals, it's hard to predict what ships I'll be on, or when, as a flexible, value-oriented cruiser.
Thanks for watching and I hope you have a great cruise. I would have loved to get an oceanview but these were the only cabins available during my visit. :)
Ill never forget the great time I had onboard her as Costa Firenze, the whole "Fun Italian Style" and Costa by Carnival feels like an "americanised" idea of italian cruising style, what i mean by this is that if they'd truly want italian style, they should've just sent her and Venezia under Costa, however it'sjust my view on it, by the way great video as always!
Thanks for asking. Sadly, the response to Part 2 was so lackluster, I put it on hold to get some new ships added. I have a couple short videos lined up but hope to have it finished by end of May. :)
Well, I think it is a convenient merging of assets until there is more growth needed for ailing Costa. The ships are in an identical platform and Carnival does have quite a bit of Italian heritage in that the ships are built in Italy and most of the Carnival officers are Italian, dating back to the 70s when they hired all the ex-Italian Line captains.
lol your a closed off fool I’ve never been on a carnival ship with issues Especially when the last trip I took with my family on the carnival Mardi Gras we paid well over 5000$ for two cloud 9 balcony rooms for 4 which riff rafts have that type of money. Maybe a 3 day weekend cruise for 150$ interior room lol Stop being brainwashed into stereotypical trash nonsense Everyone was like family on that ship whites blacks Latino whatever everyone was there to have a good time
Awesome video as always, Peter!! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you, Wayne! :)
The Firenze looks beautiful, and as always an awesome video Peter!
Thank you so much! :)
This is the best video. Thank you for showing all of the cabin categories and public areas! I'm good to go now. 52 days left!
So appreciate your kind words. Hope you have a great cruise! :)
I love the Michelangelo Restaurant, too, Peter! Thanks for the great overview and the wonderful kicker at the end.
Oh, thank you so much, my esteemed and cherished friend!

Thanks so much to you both! So nice to see you and thank you for your visit. :)
Wow what an amazing vessel! Also gotta love the QM in the backround as well very cool!!!😀
The QUEEN MARY is the best photo bomber. :)
Great video as usual, Peter..... best shot in your video in my opinion? The one of Her Majesty!
So agree! It was nice to be able to enjoy that view, especially after the MARY has been getting her new paint on.
Great video, as always. And as for Cherry on Top, yeah, you'd think they would've put that to rest by now.

magnifico!
Grazie!

Thank you, Jeremy! Yes, Long Beach has a cool past and, of course, its better now than ever, thanks to the growth inspired by the beautiful QM. :)

Thank you! Yes, it was a midnight oil burner but glad to have it out while she is still an object of curiosity. :)
November has the best price, go check it out.
Hi Peter, great video. I loved all the (important) details you captured! BTW - We met this weekend at a pot luck., remember?
Hey Christian! How nice to see you here! Thanks for watching and commenting, Hope to see you guys again soon. :)
My fav part of this video was the view of the Queen Mary! She is looking great!
She's the showstopper. :)
Amazing video! Thank you so much will be doing a first time cruise on the Carnival Firenze in November/2025🚢♥️

🇲🇽🇺🇸🇪🇬🇺🇸
Thank you, Michael! Hope you have a wonderful time!
@@midshipcinema thank you 🙏 I forgot to ask you how is the service and the food on this ship
@@michaelnammour2285 Both were excellent on my cruise. I show a lot of food in the video at the various dining outlets. :)
Great Video
Thank you, my little brother in ships. :)
So excited, were boarding 1st week of August.
Boarding later this month! Thanks for the great tour but I would like to see an oceanview cabin as well.

Thank you. I think they feel they have to have some of the regular Carnival branded spaces to keep all happy but I agree.
She looks fairly nice. Any idea when the next Cunarders Behind the Iron Curtain episode is out?
Thanks for asking. Sadly, the response to Part 2 was so lackluster, I put it on hold to get some new ships added. I have a couple short videos lined up but hope to have it finished by end of May. :)
@@midshipcinema I’ll mark the date! 😂 can’t wait to see it, keep up the good work Peter
@@pagmonreal Thank you! I'll take that as inspiration to get it out there asap! :)
Do we have to sit with others in the dining rooms?
There are tables for two but most are very close to the tables next to them, so it depends.
I have to admit the blend of brands makes absolutely no sense to me - but the ship does look interesting inside.

That makes perfect sense. But to me painting the funnel in Carnival colours makes even more sense 😂
Carnival missed out on this one. She’s too good looking for Carnival. Picture her with a green hull and Caronia on the bow.
I picture everything with a green hull and CARONIA on the bow! :)
This is like opening a brand new Walmart in the hood. LA riffraff will trash this ship real quick.
Yeah, well, I don't think the LA "riffraff" is any worse than others out there.
I find the people out of LA to be a lot more tame compared to those sailing out of South Florida.
