I really like the styling of this ship! It reminds me of The Palazzo in Vegas. It definitely seems more geared to adults than children which can be nice. Glad I chose the Navigator for our family trip but will absolutely keep this in mind for future adults-only trips. Nice review!
@@mamabar6811 glad you found this review useful! Appreciate you leaving a note here. I live in Vegas so I get the palazzo comparison! I will say though the Venetian and Palazzo have a lot more real marble!
I love your narration...it's so relaxing. We'll be on this ship in November & I haven't been able to find out much about it. I'm a cruise newbie (this will only be #2 & my first was way back in 2007), so your tour has definitely put some of my nerves at ease. Thanks for sharing!
I've been on the Carnival Inspiration, Imagination, Panorama, Radiance, Miracle and this ship, from your video, seems to out do the rest. I have a tripped planned on the Carnival Firenze at the end of August and I can't wait!!
Hi. Can you tell me please if there are dogs in the check in area at the Port of Long Beach? I'm terribly afraid of dogs and will have a complete meltdown if one is even anywhere near me. I appreciate any info you can provide. Thank you!
We going in April me and my daughter I can’t wait. This ship is beautiful. Thank you for documenting this. The video is good quality and I like how you explained everything and showed us.
The cover on Lido deck was closed the whole time for us. Think i would like it open like other Carnival cruises . We just got back yesterday from a 4 day cruise.
@@LetsAllCruise it was awesome. We got the balcony which was a plus. The elevators had issues and were slow. But not much complaints. Didn’t get off at Enscenada. But we seen it before. And we rented the golf cart in Catalina which we didn’t do last time. The gym was decent and we worked out everyday. Didn’t go in the pools because it was crowded with kids. Think we might do all adult cruise or Norwegian since that’s geared to the older crowd. I gave this cruise 6 out of 10.
@@KevinSmith-oz5oz nice! Glad you enjoyed it. I've yet to visit Catalina but want to go there sometime. If you're looking for an older crowd and less partying Princess and Celebrity are good options.
Nice video, looking to do a 7nt mexico cruise, which one was a better, navigator of the seas or firenze? They are the same price and its my first time.
It really depends what you want to do. I think there's more space and more things to do on Navigator. I liked the bars on board. The water slides on Navigator are way better if that's your thing. But it's an older ship so the cabins are quite dated. Don't think you can go wrong with either though.
@@LetsAllCruise im really looking for better bars and better hottubs and food and shows.. Drinking and eating and catching shows is what im going to do.
@@LetsAllCruise We have just finished your cruise on the Firenze. Indeed, there is no more tablecloth. My wife points out to me that it's been like this for about 2 years (I haven't noticed despite 6 cruises per year). An extraordinary boarding... We left our room on the Queen Mary at 10:15am. (scheduled from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.). At 10:55 a.m. I left my backpack in our cabin on the Firenze. It’s true that we are diamonds...
I’m aboard this ship right now. Not a fan. But let me be clear. This is my 7th cruise, and I’ve cruised with Carnival in the past and really enjoyed myself. So my comments are not for the purpose of bashing Carnival. But honesty counts. Again, I’ve always enjoyed myself in the past. Not this time. The layout of the ship is odd and does not accommodate ease of movement from one end of the ship to the other. The elevators are so-called ‘smart’ elevators. You tap a panel for the floor you want to go to, and it tells YOU which one to take. On cruise day, this was an absolute nightmare. The boarding process alone had worn out a lot of folks and this didn’t help. Oh, and the cabins have a glaringly obvious lack of power outlets. Fortunately, I had been told to bring a converter to use on the European type 220v outlet to make it a 110v. Our cabin steward, who is wonderful, had to bring me a 20ft Orange-colored heavy duty extension cord to use for my CPAP machine. The buffet area is a bit crowded and could have been laid out for better flow. For some reason, the on-board shops don’t all seem to stay open simultaneously, with some opened, while others don’t open until later. Again, compared to my past experiences with Carnival and cruising in general, this is all kind of odd. We are making the best of it though, and will ultimately have a good time. But I wont be cruising aboard this ship again in the future.
This is a Costa ship, that has moved to Carnival line. It was an Italian ran ship. I have been on a Costa ships. Everything was in Italian, couldn't understand the announcement. Even when you are getting a bowl of icecream they ask, do you want tomato sauce topping on your icecream. Even the coffee tasted like tomato sauce. Italians can not say they invent pizza, not on that Italian ship, cardboard tasted better. Maybe it was cardboard with sauce and cheese. We have to many ships to choose from, never again for me.
I am vey surprised that you have never mentioned that this boat was build for Costa! That it is why this ship is so different! So, the thing that you are surprised of everything is normal! It is not a normal designed Carnival Cruise Ship! It was bought from Costa Cruises !
11:30-12:00 We arrived around 11:45 and the line didn't move until 1:00, and we stepped on the ship at 1:45. They'd basically stopped boarding everyone unless they had status or were in suites until they'd disembarked everyone. There was a massive delay in that process partly due to late arrival. But it also took us ages to get off and we were not delayed on arrival. Our disembark group was 8:30 to 9:00 and didn't get called until 9:30 and weren't in the terminal until 10:00. Overall worst embark and disembark I've ever experienced. Weird because although this ship is new in long beach it's the same size and layout as panorama.
