- This tutorial explores various reharmonization techniques that can be successfully applied to literally any song and with any chord progression that goes with it, ranging from triads to extended chords. These techniques are taught in the Key of E, which happens to be a pretty unpopular especially when we consider the popular keys C, F, C#, F#, Bb, Eb, etc. One key factor in this tutorial is that it emphasizes the immense value of applying chord concepts learned in all keys.

I see people going crazy over the chords in the comment section and I understand them but I would like to know the thought process behind them.
Why do you choose those stuff? Like for example that scale in the beginning when fingers moves in thirds? O playing an Aflat chord which is not diatonic to Emajor etc... I am more interested in the reasons and why's than "stealing chords or copying them".

I love an intelligent question! Reminds me of the saying "teach me how to fish, and don't just give me fish". When I keyed into the mindset behind why most advance players do what they do, it unlocked an infinite creative prowess in me, that can only but get better. About your question, if you've been able to view my other tutorials you'll realize that I do prioritize concepts more than random licks, chords, etc. On the flip side though, one might need to "copy" something first before understanding the concept behind it. The fingers moving in thirds is just another way of doing a 2-5 to the 1 chord intro as most songs do, as for other chords(like the Ab you mentioned) within the context of a key; its very important to know the relationship of the other 11 keys, to the key you are playing on in every performance 😉👌🏼
Great video! I’d recommend you look into getting a pop filter for your microphone, because without it there comes a lot of extra noise
