Chris Nolan on 2001: A Space Odyssey and Stanley Kubrick

In 2018, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey, Cannes Film Festival held a world premiere of an unrestored 70mm print of the movie, introduced by Academy Award-winning director Christopher Nolan.
Nolan discusses the importance of presenting audiences with 2001 in its original form and of the inspiration of the work of Stanley Kubrick.
