Thank you Anthony, haha it was a little touch and go for a while, luckily the tarp didn't take flight. The meths stoves are pretty great. Low weight and bulk, cheap fuel, and the stoves themselves are very inexpensive. I usually use them in a larger system, with windscreens and potstands, but tent pegs and foldable windscreens work as well. The more you can shelter them the better. Absolutely, I always tend to underestimate the effect wind will have. I guess that's the luxury of camping in the woods, as opposed to exposed mountain terrain. Thank you for the comment, and subscription, hope to see you again in the future!

Was supposed to be 4°C, but with the wind and elevation, I would guess 1°C for daytime and a degree or two below freezing at night.
