This one is a keeper! I need to spend a couple of hours and experiment with every single one of these. Many of them I knew, but a significant portion I did not. The main thing I use motion for is to create custom lower thirds for my videos. I publish them to final cut. Thanks again for your excellent work.

Hey Jenn. Just found your channel and really enjoying it.
Question, can you please explain why you would use the color generator over simply using a rectangle? Say for a background for instance. Thanks!

    • @JennJagerPro
      @JennJagerPro  ปีที่แล้ว

The main difference is that the Color Solid will automatically take on the dimensions of your project. If you prefer drawing a background with the rectangle tool, go for it.

I was trying to move a 20 frame dropzone with images in each dropzone over a 4:30 time line. Scrolling across.using thr Move behavior.
My other was was figuring out what would be the time element between each key frame for 5 minutes..

Quick question, is there a way to steal a color from another object on the screen. I remember in Photoshop being able to use the eye dropper in order to select the color from something on the screen and then apply it to another object, kind of like cut and paste. I have been trying to figure it out in Final Cut Pro as well. Thanks in advance!

Hi! thanks for your tutorials. One thing I can't figure out is how to increase the timeline sequence. Or zoom in and out. Let's say I originally set it to 5 seconds but decide I want to make it 10. How do I do that? Thanks.

Your videos have been invaluable in helping me learn this software, and I’m grateful.
I would love to know how to spin text around a 3D object such as a globe, so it appears to revolve around and behind much like the rings of Saturn.
I just cannot seem to get this to happen 😖

Just love your work! The way you explain things can you please make a dedicated segment for all the behaviors in apple motion just the way Jake in Motion did with Effects of After Effects. It would be really helpful to understand behaviors how they work and how to use them to make some great stuff !!!

I have followed three different tutorials for how to wrap text around an image or object. But none of them works for me. Do you such a tutorial? That last time I did this successfully was ten years ago but I no longer have that tutorial. And none of current tutorials work on my Motion 5.6.1. Thank you.

      Digital or Analog?
If Digital there was a work around using the timecode generator. Reverse the clip and crop the frames. Keep in mind that it is connected to your timeline frame rate and not actual time. There was a way for it to follow real time, but I can't remember off the top of my mind.

Hi Jenn, this was awesome! Would you be willing to elaborate on how you use some of your top 40 in new videos? I know most of the behaviors/filters and how they work, but it really helps to see different ways that you can apply them to make cool effects.

Anyone knows if in Apple Motion is possible to crate different Comps with diferent sizes inside the SAME FILE? I explain, in after effects i use to create social media and i have to make one file in 1080x1920 and adapt the same art and design for a 1080x1080 format for example. With this, i only create a new Comp in After Effects, duplicate the content, adapt e voila.
One of my clients i create the entire month of posts inside ONE single .AE file, and then i make the package to finish everything and deliver the project.
Im trying to move my workflow to Motion, but since i get stuck with some basics (like this) i still chained to adobe haha.
Does anyone know if is possible? If yes, this can be a game changer for me and my workflow.
