Same here used to watch the show for many years but kinda stopped watching all soaps about 15 years ago. Although, I’ve watched a little emmerdale recently, with Bell and her crazy boyfriend and Kim Tate playing with her partner. I deff wouldn’t be able to get back in to Eastenders now, way to many annoying characters that I can’t stand.
Does anyone else feel a heart felt ache when seeing these any actor that's passed? Way much more when they were alive. Suppose it reminds you of the past, rinds you of the friends and family that have passed. I have way more respect and feels for actors when they are dead, then when they are alive. God damn, life goes so so quick. I've only got 15 years tops left. 15 years man. 😢
I'll be lucky if i survive the winter....but yes it seems life is gone in the blink of an eye....and if it's left up to Starmer there'll be many more gone this winter...but him and all his cronies will be alright with all the freebies they get while we freeze to death...
I remember Leah Bracknell playing the character of Zoe Tate. If I remember rightly, her character was that of a vet who was also a lesbian I remember thinking many years ago when she regularly appeared in Emmerdale that she was very good looking when you thought of many of the on-screen lesbian characters that you had on other soap operas. It's a shame that she died at such a relatively young age. RIP Leah Bracknell

You get to a point in life where the heroes you grew up with who brought joy to your life don't live forever. Some of these I didn't even know about & is heart-breaking to read. The next video up is Coronation Street but I can't watch it. I'd rather remember them with joy not sadness because they learnt a skill that made me believe in their character, such is the talent they possessed to make me a part of their story & for that I am truly grateful & thankful because it got me through tough times in my life ❤🫂🕯🕊🙏🏾.

Good news, folks, we all die eventually! Honestly, why is this video so morbid, these late actors/actresses deserve to be celebrated for what they’ve contributed to their careers. I do wished people would be so negative about death, it’s a natural process, although my heart does break for those who died too young and still had a future to make. Anyway, those that have passed are probably looking down at us and crying for us still having to live in this physical world, warts and all while they’re enjoying the joyous afterlife. Death is simply the ending of one’s life and the beginning of our next journey, again
Definitely the end of life..but certainly not the beginning of another one that’s just a load of crazy baloney!!..,My Grandad would be the first to come and tell me we were wrong 👍
Emmerdale was always on in the background whilst dinner was being prepared, so the faces are familiar although I never sat and watched. Very sad to know so many are gone. Leah Bracknell fought hard to stay alive, poor Andy Devine picked up something deadly in hospital. Nature reigns supreme in the end. Peace and light all. 🌷🌹🥀🌺🌷.
RIP Peter Martin I honestly thought he was still alive. .I thought he came across as the most natural and convincing act in Emmerdale.. Down to earth.....
I didnt know some of these had died. I have never feared death until last week. I dont know whats changed to make me fear it,but when i die i want there to be nothing,i want everything to end. The thought of there being a heaven, hell, purgatory anything scares me.
Shirley Stelfox (Edna Birch) was never, ever seen without her silly hat in a single episode of Emmerdale that she appeared in. Shirley, a 'method' actress was said to have even slept and showered with the hat on and couldn't be parted from it. steve Halliwall ( Zac Dingle) was, similarly, never, ever seen without his flat cap in a single episode of Emmerdale that he appeared in. So attached to the cap was the dingle-meister, that when he died, they had to surgically remove the cap which had been stuck on his head with super-glue for decades.
Does nobody else find it strange that Emmerdale keep the Zak Dingle character alive long after Steve Haliwells death? Is this normal to do this or is it unusual?

Coronation Street did the same with Stan Ogden as I remember
It is strange and disrespectful to the actors memory.
They have to get permission from the family first before Zak can be formally written out of the programme.
Maybe he's family aren't ready for he's exit from Emmerdale
I think they did this a few times in coronation street, characters referred to as still being alive even when it is known the actor had died .
The old ones are the best.
