  • On Day 4 of Our Ireland Road Trip, we leave Galway and head to the Cliffs of Moher, taking Corkscrew Hill to the Wild Atlantic Way! On the way, we'll pass Dungaire Castle and the Muckinish Tower ruins. We'll pay homage to fellow TH-camrs #the SlawsAdventures as we head in from the car park. We'll share the history of O'Brien's Tower and take a 360 degree walk around it. You'll see the world -famous view of the Cliffs of Moher, including shooting locations for both Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (it was Horcrux Cave!) and the Princess Bride (the "Cliffs of Insanity"). Inconceivable!
We'll find out about some of the dangers at the cliffs as you hike south with us for over 3 miles, from O'Brien's Tower to Moher Tower at Hag's Head. And you'll actually SEE the Hag's Head - we promise!
Using sime faux drone tricks, you can take a peek over the edge with us. We'll show you an alternate place to park, if you don't feel like paying as much to see the cliffs, or if you just don't feel like walking the 3 miles down and back to Hag's Head. Then we'll take a panoramic view of just how far we've come on the edge of the cliffs.
On the return trip, we'll meet some friendly cows lunching.

Thanks for the shout out! We enjoyed our trip to the cliffs and were lucky enough to see the puffins in flight ❤

We’re hoping to make a return trip to the Emerald Isle and include the puffins on Skellig Michael if we are lucky enough to get down there😊♥️

Just listening to a song and reading comments. The song that popped up fit perfectly with your comment. Videos and pictures don’t do it justice. We agree, one of the world’s most beautiful spots!
      Thanks for watching and sharing!

Well done on the cliffs walk Chris and Karen. I've been there on a perfectly calm sunny day, and also on days with torrential downpour and fog. 👍😊🇮🇪🇺🇲

Thanks Don! We were very fortunate with the weather, and staying in Galway for 3 nights enabled us to shift our plans around accordingly. 😉 BTW, we subscribed to your channel! Well done!

The hillside shops remind me of The Shire. Was there a Bilbo Baggins sighting?

A lot of people have compared them to hobbit holes! Sorry, no hobbits actually seen though😉

@rubicorridan2480. Do you mean a shuttle at Hags Head to return you to the main car park? I know there is a car park near Hags Head but I don’t think it is affiliated with “The Cliffs “. Not sure about that. If we hear something we’ll let you know.
      Please keep watching! 👍😀

Half the deaths at the cliffs of moher sadly are not accidents sadly
