Move to skillet with a little bacon grease and water wire wisk and begin adding cheese. Lots of pepper. If you've fried a lot of bacon, you can grind by hand and add to grits for bacon cheese grits. Enjoy.
I drop raw eggs and cooked bacon in mine... one shot breakfast... Make 'em a little runny first... Raw Eggs thicken grits pretty quick.. but Delicious!

Try salting the water before adding the grits. The salt seasoning will be "in" the grits when done.
