That's awesome stuff man. I've been watching a lot of your Focus reviews on mk3.5, mk4 and mk4.5. I currently own a Focus st line 182hp and its a blast. I want to buy the ST and eventually the RS. Although we didn't get the mk4 ST in South Africa but we still have some good mk3.5's in good condition.
Thank you for watching the Focus review videos I have and I hope you have found them useful. I would actually say if you cannot get the MK4 ST in South Africa (which is a shame as it is a really great car) you might well actually have hit the sweet spot with the ST-Line 182hp particularly for normal road use and day to day driving. If you use your car sparingly I would say the RS is fantastic but it is very firm. The ST is a step on from the ST-Line but its still okay for day to day driving. It is worth having a test drive also to see what you think 👍
They are great all round cars and super fun to drive the MK3's. Hopefully my videos give you an idea of an RS....it is very full on but a great RS for sure 👍
I'm a Ford guy for life, I had a Mark 1 focus for almost 9 years, literally a bulletproof car and now I enjoy the Mark 3 as well. My grandfather had a Cortina and my uncle had a Escort Mk 4.... so who knows, I might end up with an RS one day but now priorities lay elsewhere.
As a fellow owner, this a balanced ownership review. I think you're a lot more gentle on yours than i am mine, however its worth doing a track day just how capable it is. Veering steering is an interesting one, i haven't experienced it in mine. It seems car/ road dependent. Maybe check tyre pressures, and tread? Its a shame the MK3's are the less loved in the RS world. They are great cars, especially with a few subtle mods.
Yes I would agree I do not really push the car to its limits on the road and your right it would only be on track to see its full potential. I think it could be due to my car being a revo stage 2 car with 440hp as it may not happen if the car was stock. I think the MK3 RS's are great and can hold there own in the focus RS world along side the MK1's and MK2's 👍
@@SamAustin potentially in respect of the power upgrade to stage 2 as mine is only stage 1. Content suggestion... Get some MK3 owners together who have used different tuners and see what the real world difference is in the dynamics of the car.
Can you get a mk3 focus st-2/3 petrol on the channel would love a review from you as I am really looking at getting one also how much did the tank of petrol cost you? Thanks keep up the great videos 👍
If someone reaches out that would be a good video to try and compare for sure. Erm I filled up around 43litres as the tank was not that low, its a 51 litre tank, £1.51 a litre of Tesco 99 Momentum 👍

I have a regular Mark 3 Focus and it feels & looks great, I cant imagine how it feels in the RS. Keep up the great work!

Really enjoying the content 👍
What is your pov go pro setup? Cheers.
Thank you! I use a GoPro Hero 10 black and for this video a GoPro head mount 👍
Hi, do you prefer this to the Ford fiesta st3 1.5 in mean green?
They are very different but the MK8.5 Fiesta ST is more fun and agile whereas the Focus RS is a bit more serious and capable when pushing on 👍
Even on the motorway I average 26mpg if I’m lucky in mine, I can’t help myself
😁
👍
