I was camping with my family and we went to goblin Valley in Southern Utah. I kept seeking out higher points to climb to. The only place nearby that was higher would have required gear, and I had none. But it is fun as hill!
I'm sharing this with my sister. She's one hell of a rock climber, and she just came back from Germany where she and her boyfriend study architecture and climb basically every rock they find. I don't think she specifically does mountaineering, but she could absolutely take it up if she wanted to.
I'm a bit sad you didn't mention Gertrude Benham, she was 36 when she started after her parents, who she'd been caring for most of her life, died, and climbed up around 300 peaks and made circumnavigated the globe several times mostly on foot, and walked pretty much the entirety of Africa. Heck she went and climed Mount Faye, one of the toughest peaks in the Valley of 10 Peaks in Alberta and named after a man named Charles Faye who hadn't even climbed it yet, she legit just stole his thunder right out from under his feet

Extra history, should do a video on the discovery of the highest mountain on earth Before Everest was discovered, in 18th and early 19th century, the title of the highest mountain kept changing places with new mountains getting discovered that had higher peaks. Even after Everest was discovered it took decades of disputes before it finally got termed the highest.

I suspect the historical fashion youtuber community would have quite a bit to say about just how much you can do in the women's fashions of those days.
The dresses are wide and structured, so they don't get between your legs or feet. There was a certain grace you needed but women of the era would be practiced. A blouse would be quite good for warmth and the corsets would not matter. Shockingly not so bad for this.
