What I learned is, derma talaga muna before trying a certain skincare. I tried a lot of brands, somebymi, cosrx, etc. pero at the time na nag visit ako sa derma, Dr. Ailynne prescribed me a skincare set plus taking an isotretinoin is yun naging sagot. Now I feel confident without any pimples. Meds talaga worked but the skincare were the maintenance.

May - first derma ko sa VW dermatology June - followup to check on the progress ng pag take ko ng iso and skincare (dito pa lang 50% improvement na mga pimples ko) July - Online followup to check again the progress. And may questions lang ako sa side effects like dryness sa mata pero normal lang yun na side effect ng isotretinoin. September - ito yung inask ko si doc if she can adjust my isotretinoin from 10mg to 20mg. Present - wala na akong pimple as in, even the dark spots, magkapimple man minsan isa tapos after a week nawawala agad, pati dark spots agad nawawala dahil don sa kligmans cream. I also now have a lighter skin and lumiit mga pores ko kasi dati parang mga butas talaga lol. I still have noticeable pores pero konti nalang sa near the nose pero for sure ma iimprove to in long term since still taking pa ako ng isotret and also the skincare. This is the best investment i took para sa sarili ko. Sobrang worth it. Considering na before derma andami kong nagastos for skincare na iba iba.
Love Doc Ailynne's approach!! Agree sa meds work, but I think maintenance also has to do with meds other than skincare. Hindi nga lang oral meds yes, but products like your clindap gel or kligman's cream could also be considered as maintenance meds. 🤍
@@Ongiel Clindap Gel works amazing when it comes to preventing pimps. Yung kligmans cream naman I can say a great exfoliator for me. Like as in after using is in a week, mag pipeel talaga yung dark spots na pinanggalingan ng pimple, then yung new skin is like a baby skin texture. I invested a lot on products before consulting derma, dapat pala nag derma muna me, lol. Sa skin ko i can consider sobrang sensitive, even yung sa luxxe baby moisturizer nagkaka pimps ako. But using what Dr. Ailynne have tailored skincare for me, it made wonders. For me time is currency panaman. Meds and the skincare worked amazing.
the 7th mistake you mentioned really hits the spot. 'yung restrictions you give yourself kasi "not good for my acne" could damage other parts of you. restricting myself from food that makes me happy kasi hindi raw siya good for my acne, stressed me out even more on occasions i should be all giddy which is counteractive sa anti-acne routine na pinagagawa ko HAHAHAHA, take care of yourselves y'all!

It's been 2 days since I stopped using the acne treatment that the dermatologist prescribed because it's almost a month ang yet madami pa din tumutubo na mga pimples at malalaki pa, after watching this I was convinced to use it again and just trust the process. Hoping for best results!
Used benzoyl peroxide for small bumps sa forehead ko (Neutrogena stubborn acne) and effective. Now I'm trying to make these cystic acne (?) disappear kaloka overnight tumutubo. Hopefully I have enough funds to visit a derma soon. Thanks, I subbed 🎉 sayo galing yung bp reco
I just started my skincare journey and super big help ng channel mo, Jan! I really agree with the 3rd mistake, however in my case, yung macconsider kong acne medication na ginamit ko is my prescribed Althea pills. Hindi acne yung main purpose ko ng pagtake sa kanya, but it really helped clear out my skin to some extent. Ngayon, I'm starting to find skincare products that suit my skin to supplement it. Never heard of Benzac, but maybe I will try it if I ever stop taking my BCP.

Thank you kuya John dahil sayo nakilala ko ang benzac benzol peroxide. At sobrang effective nya sa mga pimples ko ngayon nawawala na paunti unti. At ang sanhi pala ng mga breakouts ko ay yung gamit kong moisturizer antagal kong ginamit yon almost 8mothns this year ko lang nalaman na yun pala sanhi ng breakouts ko 😭

I'm 45 and have an oily skin, also I have big pores. Maayos naman ang face and skin texture ko though, I have no acne but was not totally smooth, I have small acne scars from long time ago and not perfect. And all of a sudden, I got an adult acne. Any of the 2 ok. Pareho silang moisturizers formulated for oily skin. Pero just to be clear, hindi moisturizer ang solusyon sa acne at hindi mapapawala ng moisturizer ang acne mo. Pls watch 4:36 onwards for explanation :)

It seems that the PDS accredited instititions no longer entertain online patients :( I messaged almost all of them and they would always just be automated response that they would keep in touch with me soon but not one did ever since last week. Even the one that prescribed me acne meds before won't entertain anymore. It's sad coz I don't really know a good derma near me.
Kuya, I've been using benzoyl peroxide 5 percent for 1+ year na, and it really cleared my skin, pero these past few months (3 - 4 months) nag stop na po ang pagiging effective niya? Lagi na po akong nagbebreakout ulit. Ano po kaya reason?
Hello. Is it okay to use niacinamide soap as cleanser then use glycolic acid (the ordinary) after it? I've been following that routine for a while pero natatakot ako baka hindi pala advisable. 😟

Cystic Acne prone skin ako pero nung nag consult ako sa dermatologist binigyan ako ng skin routine sa mukha with monthly acne facial treatment.. after 2 years wala pa rin hanggang nag prescribed na ng Isotretinoin na oral med.. nawala talaga yung acne ko.. sana una pa lang nag prescribed na agad ng Isotretinoin .. sa ngayon I wash my face twice tubig lang at iwas na sa sobrang tamis na food. Try mo dermorepubliq or Apotheke Niacimide. Mahal yung Noah niacinamide. Better niacinamide is Serum type. Why? Serum has Thinner texture na mas ma aabsorb ng skin.

Hello po sir. Ask ko lang po kasi nagcleansing oil po ako then hindi ko po agad nahilamusan ng another cleanser kasi naligo ako. After ko po magshampoo, saka ako naghilamos. Napansin ko po yung pores ko lumaki then parang nadry yung skin ko. Is it because of the shampoo po ba? Hangggang ngayon parang open pa din yung pores and dry pa din skin. Makinis yung part na yun sa face ko before pero ngayon parang may mga holes. Don’t know what to do… Kung pwede po kayo masuggest or ano. Thank you po.
Hello po, I've been using the Klued 2% Salicylic Gentle Cleanser, 5% Niacinamide Klued Serum at yung Jeju Aloe Ice Moisturizer since Jan 12 and grabe yung purging na nangyari sa akin, until now meron pa rin and grabe na yung acne marks na naiiwan sa face ko. Idk which product yung nag-cause tho I think dahil sa cleanser 'yon. Should I stop using it? o i-try ko pong bawasan yung araw na ginagamit ko yung product? Everyday ko po kasing ginagamit. I just need help huhu I don't have enough income para sa consultation ng isang derma so I'm really helpless rn. :

Di naman kailangan gamitin muna bago gamitin yung isa, pero ok din kasi talaga na gamitin sila together. 👍 Mas effective against acne lalo na pag consistent ka. In 3-6 months it makes a difference

@@preciousmarquez2688 Hi not ongiel but you may use both products. I suggest start incorporating benzoyl peroxide to your routine first and vary the use depending on how your skin tolerate it. After three or four weeks and your skin has adjusted to benzoyl peroxide. You can start incorporating salicylic acid to your routine. Jan Angelo have recommendations for salicylic acid where you can try to look for from cleanser form to a toner or a serum one. If it doesn't work and have a money, consult to a derma since they know best and would help find products that will suit your skincare.
For first time user po ng BP, it's okay po ba to use 5% kahit hindi gaanong severe yung acne though acne prone naman yung skin? Parang pahirapan na kasi makahanap ng less than 5% sa mga leading/official stores now, not sure.
May retailers online that sell 2.5% benzoyl peroxide if gusto mo talaga :) May shop reco ako sa "Combination Skin Routine" na video ko. I suggest start with that. May iba kasi too strong na si 5% sa kanila. Pero meron ding hindi, at the end of the day depende talaga sa kanya-kanyang skin eh!
I already bought the 5% bp and microbiome combo last night after I watched your video (excited lol) However, I might check out the 2.5% to make my skin adapt to it slowly. Just hoping the 5% I bought have a long life before it expires. Para gamitin ko nalang sya after a while using 2.5%.

Pede po pahelp kasi sakin po yung pimles na aagapan ko na pero yung mga dati pong pimple marks na pula pula po ay andito padin po nakakwalan kasi ng confidence po pa help naman po or parecommend pang alis ng pimple marks
Though technically pwede, dermatologists recommend to use your brightening/lightening ingredients separately from benzoyl peroxide. So ako I just use BP sa umaga, then sa gabi si Radiance Boost kasabay ng tretinoin ko. :)
Tama si boss gelo coz 2 radiance boost amd benzac are active ingr. So if pinagsabay mo baka hindi maganda yung reaction sa akin mo. Use the Night/day system. Or alternate day
Nagtry ako magpa consult sa Derma pero parang nde nman na addressed ng maayos yung concerns ko sa face ko instead binentahan lang ako ng sarili nilang product sa clinic tapos wala pang nkalagay kung ano ano ba mga sangkap nung mga skincare binenta saken...wala mn lang sinabe saken ano ba dapat kung gawin kumbaga nagbayad ako ng 700 tapos wala ako naintindihan except sa binentahan ako..hahahahha

Ako rin dati! Nakakainis yung ganyan. Actually dati, akala ko lahat ng derma ganyan. Pero hindi din naman, natutunan ko na kailangan pala talaga mabusisi ka sa paghanap ng derma na competent. Mataas success rate ko sa mga Philippine Dermatological Society (PDS) board certified dermatologists. Lagi ineexplain ang acne ko, and inuuna gamot before anything na benta-benta. Pag ako papasok ng skin clinic, I always look at kung PDS board-certified ba si derma (may DPDS or FPDS sa name). Even sa KonsultaMD app marami sila, and usually gamot talaga binibigay una before any skincare recommendations. Pero as pasyente din, ako talaga hinding-hindi ako papayag na aalis ako ng clinic nang hindi ko naintindihan yung sinabi ng doktor saken. Lalo na pag wala siyang sinabe about a certain concern ko, magtatanong at magtatanong talaga ako. Down to every product itatanong ko kung ano yan at paano. Mabusisi talaga ako magtanong. Kasi syempre pera ko yan na binayad ko for consult eh. Syempre di ako papayag na basta-basta lang lalabas ako sa clinic na walang naintindihan. Pag walang explanation, I myself will ASK for it. Para sulit yung kung anumang binayad ko. ☺️

* try and try until mahiyang ka, which is wrong and pwedeng lumalala pa.
* you really need to SAVE!!! Visit some clinics talaga. Clinic machines really helpful

Maayos naman ang face and skin texture ko though, I have no acne but was not totally smooth, I have small acne scars from long time ago and not perfect. And all of a sudden, I got an adult acne. It's been 6 mos. now and it's not vanishing. Super malalaki and nagkaron ako ng comedones. ☹️

Any of the 2 ok. Pareho silang moisturizers formulated for oily skin. Pero just to be clear, hindi moisturizer ang solusyon sa acne at hindi mapapawala ng moisturizer ang acne mo. Pls watch 4:36 onwards for explanation :)

Hello Jan Angelo, I hope you see this. It seems that the PDS accredited instititions no longer entertain online patients :( I messaged almost all of them and they would always just be automated response that they would keep in touch with me soon but not one did ever since last week. Even the one that prescribed me acne meds before won't entertain anymore. It's sad coz I don't really know a good derma near me.

Hello. Is it okay to use niacinamide soap as cleanser then use glycolic acid (the ordinary) after it? I've been following that routine for a while pero natatakot ako baka hindi pala advisable. 😟

Cystic Acne prone skin ako pero nung nag consult ako sa dermatologist binigyan ako ng skin routine sa mukha with monthly acne facial treatment.. after 2 years wala pa rin hanggang nag prescribed na ng Isotretinoin na oral med.. nawala talaga yung acne ko.. sana una pa lang nag prescribed na agad ng Isotretinoin .. sa ngayon I wash my face twice tubig lang at iwas na sa sobrang tamis na food. Acne scars na lang naiwan sa face ko, and I'm looking forward sa scar laser treatment.

Hello po sir. Ask ko lang po kasi nagcleansing oil po ako then hindi ko po agad nahilamusan ng another cleanser kasi naligo ako. After ko po magshampoo, saka ako naghilamos. Napansin ko po yung pores ko lumaki then parang nadry yung skin ko. Is it because of the shampoo po ba? Hangggang ngayon parang open pa din yung pores and dry pa din skin. Makinis yung part na yun sa face ko before pero ngayon parang may mga holes. Don’t know what to do… Kung pwede po kayo masuggest or ano. Thank you po.

Hello po, I've been using the Klued 2% Salicylic Gentle Cleanser, 5% Niacinamide Klued Serum at yung Jeju Aloe Ice Moisturizer since Jan 12 and grabe yung purging na nangyari sa akin, until now meron pa rin and grabe na yung acne marks na naiiwan sa face ko. Idk which product yung nag-cause tho I think dahil sa cleanser 'yon. Should I stop using it? o i-try ko pong bawasan yung araw na ginagamit ko yung product? Everyday ko po kasing ginagamit. I just need help huhu I don't have enough income para sa consultation ng isang derma so I'm really helpless rn. :

Di naman kailangan gamitin muna bago gamitin yung isa, pero ok din kasi talaga na gamitin sila together. 👍 Mas effective against acne lalo na pag consistent ka. In 3-6 months it makes a difference

@@preciousmarquez2688 Hi not ongiel but you may use both products. I suggest start incorporating benzoyl peroxide to your routine first and vary the use depending on how your skin tolerate it. After three or four weeks and your skin has adjusted to benzoyl peroxide. You can start incorporating salicylic acid to your routine. Jan Angelo have recommendations for salicylic acid where you can try to look for from cleanser form to a toner or a serum one. If it doesn't work and have a money, consult to a derma since they know best and would help find products that will suit your skincare.
For first time user po ng BP, it's okay po ba to use 5% kahit hindi gaanong severe yung acne though acne prone naman yung skin? Parang pahirapan na kasi makahanap ng less than 5% sa mga leading/official stores now, not sure.
May retailers online that sell 2.5% benzoyl peroxide if gusto mo talaga :) May shop reco ako sa "Combination Skin Routine" na video ko. I suggest start with that. May iba kasi too strong na si 5% sa kanila. Pero meron ding hindi, at the end of the day depende talaga sa kanya-kanyang skin eh!
I already bought the 5% bp and microbiome combo last night after I watched your video (excited lol) However, I might check out the 2.5% to make my skin adapt to it slowly. Just hoping the 5% I bought have a long life before it expires. Para gamitin ko nalang sya after a while using 2.5%.

Though technically pwede, dermatologists recommend to use your brightening/lightening ingredients separately from benzoyl peroxide. So ako I just use BP sa umaga, then sa gabi si Radiance Boost kasabay ng tretinoin ko. :)
Tama si boss gelo coz 2 radiance boost amd benzac are active ingr. So if pinagsabay mo baka hindi maganda yung reaction sa akin mo. Use the Night/day system. Or alternate day
Nagtry ako magpa consult sa Derma pero parang nde nman na addressed ng maayos yung concerns ko sa face ko instead binentahan lang ako ng sarili nilang product sa clinic tapos wala pang nkalagay kung ano ano ba mga sangkap nung mga skincare binenta saken...wala mn lang sinabe saken ano ba dapat kung gawin kumbaga nagbayad ako ng 700 tapos wala ako naintindihan except sa binentahan ako..hahahahha

Ako rin dati! Nakakainis yung ganyan. Actually dati, akala ko lahat ng derma ganyan. Pero hindi din naman, natutunan ko na kailangan pala talaga mabusisi ka sa paghanap ng derma na competent.
Mataas success rate ko sa mga Philippine Dermatological Society (PDS) board certified dermatologists. Lagi ineexplain ang acne ko, and inuuna gamot before anything na benta-benta. Pag ako papasok ng skin clinic, I always look at kung PDS board-certified ba si derma (may DPDS or FPDS sa name). Even sa KonsultaMD app marami sila, and usually gamot talaga binibigay una before any skincare recommendations.
Pero as pasyente din, ako talaga hinding-hindi ako papayag na aalis ako ng clinic nang hindi ko naintindihan yung sinabi ng doktor saken. Lalo na pag wala siyang sinabe about a certain concern ko, magtatanong at magtatanong talaga ako. Down to every product itatanong ko kung ano yan at paano. Mabusisi talaga ako magtanong. Kasi syempre pera ko yan na binayad ko for consult eh. Syempre di ako papayag na basta-basta lang lalabas ako sa clinic na walang naintindihan. Pag walang explanation, I myself will ASK for it. Para sulit yung kung anumang binayad ko. ☺️
