This resonates with me soo much especially the prepping of my canvases. I prep my canvas, sometimes I even start a first layer of paint (the base but ome cam actually see what I intend on doing), then I set the canvas aside and onto a new painting..like I'm sizzling the moments and then one evening I jump right into that painting. I could have 2 to 3 canvases around me. I paint at night till morning and when I wake up, I see the whatever I've done with a fresh pair of eyes and tackle my next mission. Its a whole process for me. I'm soo pleased to hear this because I thought I was a scattered artist, ( coming across uncertain but it's good to know there no rules set in stone for creatives). I thought I must start a picec, finish it before moving on to the next piece. Pleased to know.

So great - this will help me in the future. Sent in an artist statement yesterday and it's just not there yet.
