    I bought and used the Starlight Camera 4 - The qualty at night was ten fold, and in colour! I will upgrade a further two more cameras because of this! As my current swann TVI cameras are mediacore at night in black and white. Out of the box - just change the day/night to "colour", and increase the sharpness a few notches! p.s. the WDR really works!

    Are the new upgraded starlight cameras in stock yet?, i don`t see any change to the spec on your website.

      @cctvwholesales5542  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes they are in, we havent updated the specs as there is the pro vesrion to come which will be the major update so it will live up to all of its claims.

      They are now with IMX290 sensor - better wide dynamic range for day - its still 1st gererantion as the 2nd generation is going to be nearly twice the prices . we have a demo model of 2nd generation and its fantastic at night , i can see stars at night and shutter speed is still high. BUT price is too high to be marketed YET.

    • @philipblundell5311
      @philipblundell5311 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      The 2nd gen sensor that you refer to, is it the latest sony IMX385 1/2" 2.2MP sensor. The light sensitivity of this sensor is as good, if not better than the very light sensitive IMX225 1.3MP sensor, far better than the IMX290/291.

  • @corium_
    @corium_ 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    sony starvis works the same as starlight..... you need to go into settings , then it would be the same colour in night mode.

    What are the specs of reach camera? You can't compare cameras without the same specs.

    • @cctvwholesales5542
      @cctvwholesales5542  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      They are not the same spec, they are to show what range we sell ( or did sell as the video is fro 2017 ) The Starlight has been updated and so have the Hikvision

    can you compare IMX327 vs IMX290 ?

    • @cctvwholesales5542
      @cctvwholesales5542  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for your suggestion , we will do that on the new range due soon.

  • @BoghyFL
    @BoghyFL 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Try IMX415 in 4k. The IMX307 is already outdated.

    • @cctvwholesales5542
      @cctvwholesales5542  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      4K in analogue is not worth it due to interference and need for separate power supply per camera, best to go IP. Also, the video is from 2017!

    • @BoghyFL
      @BoghyFL 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@cctvwholesales5542 While i understand that the video was made in 2017, i did not tried to downplay the quality, i was just pointing out the new IMX415 CMOS release from Sony. Not sure where you're getting the 4k in analogue when talking about PoE cameras that's all digital www.sony-semicon.co.jp/products/common/pdf/IMX415-AAQR_Flyer.pdf.

    Which camera is number 4 and what dvr disc TH-cam uses?

    • @cctvwholesales5542
      @cctvwholesales5542  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, the 4th camera is sony Stalight imx291 sensor, its being updated to IMX290 from end of November for improved lux. DVR is Hikivison but its been recorded onto HDMI capture at 720P

    • @philipblundell5311
      @philipblundell5311 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      The lux sensitivity of the imx290 and 291 is identical, the main difference between them is that the imx290 is DOL WDR , the imx291 is only DIGITAL WDR., IMX290 much better in very bright light.
      Will the price remain the same?

    • @cctvwholesales5542
      @cctvwholesales5542  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, the starlights are on offer and offer due to end end on Nov, the 290 will be same price untill end of NOV 2017. The DSp has been updated aswell so should see soem improvements in night time picture aswell as daytime but wait as see if it live up to expectations.

    HOW DO YOU TURN OFF NIGHT VISION FROM THE DVR

    • @cctvwholesales5542
      @cctvwholesales5542  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      If the camera have up the coaxial cable control then you use the ptz controls to access the camera on screen display.

    does the star light sensor NEEDS IR-CUT FILTER and infrared lights anybody...

    • @cctvwholesales5542
      @cctvwholesales5542  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      IR filter is builtin into alll HD cameras with IR ( otherwise the IR lights would be useless)

      CCTV Wholesales : Question can I do away without infrared lights
      because I have some ambient light decent enough to render an aceptable image , also to hide the camera from thieves.

    Demonstrating starlight cameras at night in well light areas illustrates nothing.

      CCTV Wholesales
      It would be helpful to see videos showing how the night cameras work in the dark using star and moon light.
