100% needs to be Jorge's livestream of the watch party you react to for the final Ithaca saga - there's too many things in it that you need to see exactly the way he intended it to be delivered, and I think you'll really appreciate exactly how it all comes together. Also you're gonna need to watch all 5 songs in the same reaction. Its essentially one long running chain of events that all end on a cliffhanger or in a place you wouldn't want to stop. Clear some space, do a long reaction and treat yourself to the end of the story - its totally worth it!
I will write too many comments here, I can feel it... Remember No longer you? "I see a song of past romance" (Suffering) "I see the sacrifice of men" (Scylla) "I see portrayals of betrayal" (Mutiny) "and a brother's final stand" (Thunder bringer) "I see you on the brink of death" (Get in the water) "I see you draw your final breath" (Ody literally drowning at the end of Get in the water) "I see a man who gets to make it home alive, but it's no longer you" (most of us interpreted this as Ody "dying" in Get in the water, and a monster making it home, someone who is capable of crossing a certain line and torturing a GOD, and oh boy....that segment was terrifying in the livestream 😰)
Luke: I don't feel any sympathy for anyone who gets in Ody's way. Luke, five seconds later, watching Ody torture Poseidon: *visible discomfort* For the Ithaka Saga, the final saga which released over Christmas, people haven't had a lot of time to make animatics for it. I'd recommend reacting to the last part of "EPIC: The Ithaca Saga PREMIER PARTY" and just watch the whole thing in one video.
Oh my gosh… we are almost at the end now! 🥺 But can’t wait for you to reach it and go through this hell of emotions! I’d also suggest to react to the livestream. If you can’t make all 5 songs then go with the first 3 and then the last 2.
The Ithaca Saga is the last saga and since it just came out, there are not a lot of animatics yet. There is the livestream though. Make sure to skip to this timestamp for the Ithaca Saga 2:09:13
The Ithica saga starts at 2:09:13 on the live stream. As its only been a few days since the saga released there are very few fan animatics ready, so I highly recommend using the cannon lifestream animtics.
Your reactions have all been just so much FUN. I cannot wait to see your reaction to the Ithica saga. These videos have been so enjoyable. It's definitely going to be bittersweet watching you come to the end :)
Been waiting for this one. Six Hundred Strike is easily one of my top 5 songs in EPIC, it's SO GOOD. Get In The water is also incredible lol Can't wait for your reaction to the last saga, I think it's genuinely my favorite.
Like a lot of people in the comments I highly recommend watching Jorge's final listen-through of Epic livestream, since it has some additional content and is canon to Epic storyline it will be perfect for final reaction.
"There's an arguement over whether or not he deserved it" Dude. This guy killed HUNDREDS of his men for not killing his son, he's the biggest part of why Odysseus didn't just return home 10 years ago. He absolutely deserved it. But yeah, "Look what you turned me into, look what we've become" deffo hurt my heart from that song.
I have been so excited for you to get to 600 Strike. The moment the Different Beast motif starts, the way he responds to "you can't kill me" with "exactly" the lines he delivers while giving Poseidon a piece of his mind! My personal favorites are "LOOK WHAT YOU'VE TURNED ME INTO" and "YOU DIDN'T STOP WHEN I BEGGED YOU!" The words of someone pushed to the breaking point. It's so, so satisfying to see him get Poseidon to yield!
I will 100% recommend the live stream on Jorge’s channel for the Ithaca saga if you want to cry so much You get to watch with animatics as well as see the Voice actors and I guarantee you will probably sob
The livestream is the best way to consume the next saga. Just hands down. There is no breaks, there is no place to stop naturally. Ithaca Saga is just one cohesive climatic series of songs.
If ur splitting the Ithica Saga then I recommend watching the first 3 then the other 2 and to watch the livestream as it only came out on Christmas so most of the animatics rn't out yet
Agreed. I would even say 2 - 1 - 2 could work, so as long as the last two songs aren't split. But 3 - 2 is more to my impatient little heart's liking, I will admit
I'd highly recommend watching all the remaining 5 songs in one go. I know it's a lot, but they all lead into each other very directly, and the story doesn't have any skips inbetween each song, so it would give you the biggest impact :P You could even split the songs apart for different videos, but reacting to them all in one sitting I think would really hit hard
i look forward to see your reaction to the ithaca saga! i would recommend to actually react to the last live stream. It's really overwhelming seeing Jorge (the creator) and everyone react to the end. But it would be just one video though, since it's all the songs binged together. You'll see dude! Hope you'll bring tissues too 😂
I can't wait for your to see the final saga! Just love your pure and raw reactions every time. Even though I know the songs by heart, I just relive them with you. Thank you for sharing!
First of all I want to thank you for being so real and not shying away from showing your emotions in those videos honestly I LOVE watching your reactions As for the next vid: like everyone else,I also recommend watching everything together for the last Saga in one go from the live steam but if you still wanna divide it I suggest you watch 3 then 2 and not the other way around.
This is just my opinion bur given what Antinuous ( or as I like to call him : Antinurat 💢 ) and the other suitors were plotting I think he'll be okay with what Odysseus will do :)
Majority of the cast are in Ithaca right now They all got together for the final stream and have been making loads of funny TikToks Odysseus (Jorge), Circe (his gf in real life), Jorge’s parents (who play Ody’s mom and Hephaestus), Scylla, Ares, Aphrodite, Zeus, Hermes, Telemachus, Penelope,The prophet, Eurylochus and maybe some others are all there
The bag kept the storm trapped, not the God who created it. I like to imagine Posiedon sitting on the coast of Ithaca for ten years, waiting and rehearsing a speech for when Odysseus got home. Tapping his foot, causing minor earthquakes as he grows impatient.
I am so invested in your investment that I'm literally talking out loud to you right now, just gently saying "it's okay! Keep going! You're so close!" Like you can hear me 😂 i love how tired and frustrated you are because that has to be EXACTLY how Odysseus feels. He's been doing this for a decade! He is so out of fucks at this point.
OUR BOY IS FINNALY HOME LET"S GOOO! Also Ithaca Saga will destryo you emocionally (in a good way) like rest of fandom too. And like ppl said the best is watch it on live stream that was held as watch party witch whole cast. Also fun fact: in cannon animations Odysseus used the wind bag as fricking jetpack lmao
Fun facts with 600 Strike- While fighting Poseidon, several motifs return. One is from Charybdis, the “Hoooolding on!” tune When Odysseus turns to Poseidon before he starts torturing him, the ‘Different Beast’ theme starts playing. And, at the torture, Tiresias’ theme starts playing in the background, showing that Odysseus is no longer the man from The Underworld. The red eyes represent his permanent transformation from man to monster. 100% check out the livestream/premier. It is actually a good chunk of the crew, _in Ithaca,_ watching all of the sagas. Ithaca saga is crazy. Bring tissues, no joke. If you ever get the chance, definitely check out all of the livestream’s animatics. It shows you all of sagas’ art, and they are _great,_ especially in later sagas, like the Wisdom saga. (I mentioned this when people were recommending this Get in the Water animatic. Odysseus wasn’t actually impaled, and the ghosts were hallucinations. The livestream version of this song gives a better perspective. (And a _very interesting_ canon fight in 600 Strike😂).)
He had many choices he made on his own, including how he interacted with those living on that first island he landed on. Road, paving, and good intentions.
For the ithica saga, i actually recommend putting the first 3 songs in one video and having the last 2 songs together (i just feel like song 2 and 3 should be in the same video). Honestly, epic has been such a wonderful journey and the honestly this community is one of the least toxic ive been in! Ill miss looking forward to a new saga each month but at the same time, the sense of completion is comforting. Great reaction and i cant wait till you react to the next, and final, saga (ps you might want tissues for the next one, I did 😅)
I think your reaction is spot on! It's important to recognize how changed Ody is. It's also important to realize that we can root for him while understanding that he is far from perfect and he does not always make GOOD choices, even if they were necessary. The mixed emotions are so real. Just to echo my other friends here. Ithaca Saga - watch it all at once because breaking it up won't really make sense, and watch the livestream. There are some heavy and triggering topics so just be prepared for that. And I'm begging you, bring tissues. Happy tears, sad tears, angry tears, I dunno what you're going to feel. But as emotionally exhausted as this series has left you, I know the ending will hit hard. So please please please, tissues dude. I'm so glad you're catching up. I'm so glad you've gotten so invested in this musical. I have loved your reactions!
Sir, I made the mistake of bingeing your entire ‘Epic The Musical’ playlist today and now I’m dehydrated from all my sobbing. Your reactions have been so raw, honest and real that even though I had already watched the full musical with animatics, your emotions got me EVERY. SINGLE. TIME! Also, you commented about there being a lack of ‘good father and good man’ things online, well, you, sunshine, in the honesty in your reactions and the way you talk about your boys and wife, have given others ‘a good father and a good man’ to watch. Thankyou dude for being yourself and sharing that with us. You have a new subscriber. 🕊️
Yeah, we are almost on Ithaca, next is the Ithaca saga! There are not much completed animatics yet, but if you watch the livestream version, it has some of the canonical animatics, comissioned by Jorge, there are not the full songs animated, but the most important parts. If you want to split the reaction by songs, better watch the first three and then the last two. Also I personally think you would really love the song 39 ("I Can’t Help But Wonder").
For Ithaca saga i very much recommend listening to some of the older songs again beforehand. I don't know how much free time you have, but definitely some of the older songs are worth revisiting just to remember all that we went through!
the sheer agony in this man's face ... i'm so sorry for your heartache, but also not at all because this is a very emotional project. and the thing you said about pushing someone kind-hearted over and over until they fall off the edge (into selfishness, into ruthlessness) is so apt for odysseus.
A good split for the Ithaca saga is to listen to the first three songs together then the last two together! You should definitely watch the livestream.
Beautiful reaction as always. I agree with how you feel about seeing a kind good man like Odysseus being pushed so far as to no longer being himself and now finally truly becoming the monster. I can not wait to see your reaction to the final saga and all I'll say is be ready because it's going to hit hard. I agree with the others in the comments that you should react to the entirety of the final saga and use the official livestream if possible. It would be a great way to end this reaction series and you won't regret it 😁
Seeing how pumped up you were that he was finally home nearly made me smile so much! Yet another amazing reaction and I really cannot wait for the Ithaca saga reaction. Would seriously recommend the live stream as it holds more canon animatics to it! Plus the third song in the live stream has animatics that go sooooo hard! 🤣💖
Absolutely love your reactions to this series cant wait for the Ithica saga. You introduced me to this series and ive enjoyed, cried, morned but LOVED every moment. I also love how you called Odysseus "a Monster TO Monsters". So Ture. Fingers crossed for that happy ending
There are several people I love that react to Epic, but i haven't felt motivated to watch the live stream version of most of them yet. But i have really enjoyed your reactions/felt like you reacted the way I have felt during this journey so I'd be super excited to watch you react to the livestream with the cast, etc.
Please watch the Livestream! I want to see your reaction to the final saga asap. Also i HIGHLY Recommend watching them all at once. They flow into each other really well. But if you have ti take a break, do the first three together for sure
About the roar for "get hiome to my WIFE", when Jorge did the original sample recordings way back when, he *didn't* have a recording booth, so he'd sit in his car in abandoned parking lots to record those to avoid noise complaints or having someone call the cops. Especially since he did the same for the "DIE" Poseidon screams seeing as he did most of the voices when he was working out the songs.
now we wait for another long time for him to watch the Final saga, i never watched it myself, i like watching it with him for the first time, i don't want to watch it alone, so 🎵PLEASE don't make me doooo this🎶, 🎶Don't make me dooo this🎵
18:35 quite literally actually. He never wanted to go to war! In fact, he feigned insanity when they came to draft him, but they threatened to kill his son so he begrudgingly went. But like Odysseus lowkey shot himself in the foot because it was HIS idea to have these 30 or so kingdoms vow to protect Helen’s marriage waaaaaay back when he was of marrying age (so Helen’s father would put in a good word to Penelope about him). And of COUSE PARIS HAD TO SCREW IT UP and now Ody had to keep his blood oath and go to war.
For the ithaca saga, there aren't many full animatics so i really really recommand watching the cast premiere party (it's a recorded live stream) you just have to go all the way to the itacha saga part (it also has the cast reaction for the finally and i'm sure you'll love it!)
23:25 Exactly like Zeus said at the beginning - "The blood on your hands is something you won't lose, all you can choose is whose." From the start of the Trojan War, Epic's version of Odysseus was never given a peaceful option. He chose to kill the infant to return to and save his family, and that one decision drove every single choice he made from that point forward. If his crew had survived too, that would've been ideal, but ensuring his family's safety was always his number one priority from that point forward. If that meant sacrificing his crew or throwing away his best friend's ideal of open arms or becoming a monster, he was going to do it no matter the cost. He was never given a choice to save everyone and live a peaceful life from the very beginning, and time and again his decision is tested and challenged and it costs him almost everything - his pride, his crew, his morals, his friends, and his own sense of humanity. That's the real tragedy of Odysseus; by the time he returns home, the Odysseus he once so pridefully announced to the Cyclops as "neither man nor mythical" is long gone. There is no Odysseus the man. There is no Odysseus the legend. All that's left is Odysseus the monster. And he never really had a choice in becoming that. One saga left with one question remaining: What happens when regular men meet a man who has become the monster?
I would highly suggest for Ithaca Saga to watch tge livestream. The animatics are amazing but you also get to see the cast's reaction which is super sweet and beautiful. However you should know the last saga is an emotional rollercoaster but fantastic Also Jorge's vocals in the Ithaca Saga will surprise you

"I see you draw your final breath" (Ody literally drowning at the end of Get in the water)
"I see a man who gets to make it home alive, but it's no longer you" (most of us interpreted this as Ody "dying" in Get in the water, and a monster making it home, someone who is capable of crossing a certain line and torturing a GOD, and oh boy....that segment was terrifying in the livestream 😰)
Luke: I don't feel any sympathy for anyone who gets in Ody's way.
Luke, five seconds later, watching Ody torture Poseidon: *visible discomfort*
For the Ithaka Saga, the final saga which released over Christmas, people haven't had a lot of time to make animatics for it.
Make sure to skip to this timestamp for the Ithaca Saga
2:09:13
The Ithica saga starts at 2:09:13 on the live stream. As its only been a few days since the saga released there are very few fan animatics ready, so I highly recommend using the cannon lifestream animtics.
❤
Your reactions have all been just so much FUN. I cannot wait to see your reaction to the Ithica saga. These videos have been so enjoyable. It's definitely going to be bittersweet watching you come to the end :)
❤
Been waiting for this one. Six Hundred Strike is easily one of my top 5 songs in EPIC, it's SO GOOD. Get In The water is also incredible lol Can't wait for your reaction to the last saga, I think it's genuinely my favorite.
I have to agree that composition-wise (story direction aside), 600 strike is definitely one of the best in the musical
One might say that you’ve been waiting, for this moment?
ONE MORE SAGA LEFT BRO 🔥🔥🔥
Red from OSP once described Charybdis as "A mix of a Garbage disposal and a malfunctioning garbage dispolsal."
I think it fits.
YES! Just what I need to keep up Epic hype as I enjoy the Ithaca Saga- looking forward to you listening to this and the ending.
“Odysseus never becomes the monster” 2:32 I’m gonna come back to this comment later lol
Like a lot of people in the comments I highly recommend watching Jorge's final listen-through of Epic livestream, since it has some additional content and is canon to Epic storyline it will be perfect for final reaction.
"There's an arguement over whether or not he deserved it"
Dude.
The moment the Different Beast motif starts, the way he responds to "you can't kill me" with "exactly"
the lines he delivers while giving Poseidon a piece of his mind! My personal favorites are "LOOK WHAT YOU'VE TURNED ME INTO" and "YOU DIDN'T STOP WHEN I BEGGED YOU!"
The words of someone pushed to the breaking point. It's so, so satisfying to see him get Poseidon to yield!
I will 100% recommend the live stream on Jorge’s channel for the Ithaca saga if you want to cry so much
You get to watch with animatics as well as see the Voice actors and I guarantee you will probably sob
Oh yes, i also HIGHLY recommend watching the livestream instead of separate animatics for the final saga!!
The livestream is the best way to consume the next saga. Just hands down. There is no breaks, there is no place to stop naturally. Ithaca Saga is just one cohesive climatic series of songs.
Considering most of it is just words on a screen that’s literally not true.
DO JORGE’S LIVESTREAM FOR THE NEXT SAGA. AND I RECOMMEND WATCHING THE WHOLE SAGA IN ONE SITTING SINCE IT’S THE FINAL ONE
I love your accidental prediction of him being the monster to the monsters
PLEASEEEE watch all of ithaca saga in one video it makes the experience the best to watch it all back to back
Trust me, you will cry A LOT in the last saga 😢
This man is not ready and will never be ready for song 37.
"He never becomes the monster to humanity" what a line🤣🤣 love your reacts
i look forward to see your reaction to the ithaca saga! i would recommend to actually react to the last live stream.
Guys, I don't think he will survive the Ithaca saga ✋💀✨
Same I commented something similar 💀
First of all I want to thank you for being so real and not shying away from showing your emotions in those videos honestly I LOVE watching your reactions
As for the next vid: like everyone else,I also recommend watching everything together for the last Saga in one go from the live steam but if you still wanna divide it I suggest you watch 3 then 2 and not the other way around.
Final saga was released on Christmas. You have 1 more saga until you are done!
"Doesn't become a monster to other people" OH NO HE IS GOING TO HATE THE ITHACA SAGA
This is just my opinion bur given what Antinuous ( or as I like to call him : Antinurat 💢 ) and the other suitors were plotting I think he'll be okay with what Odysseus will do :)
Majority of the cast are in Ithaca right now
They all got together for the final stream and have been making loads of funny TikToks
Odysseus (Jorge), Circe (his gf in real life), Jorge’s parents (who play Ody’s mom and Hephaestus), Scylla, Ares, Aphrodite, Zeus, Hermes, Telemachus, Penelope,The prophet, Eurylochus and maybe some others are all there
The ithaca saga is out i recommended watch the livestream by Jorge instead of the animatics
Isn't it copyrighted?
@@mopa3141all I know is other reactors react to it 🤷🏻♀️
@@mopa3141 Lots of others have reacted to the livestream already.
This
It does seem to be the most requested 👀
2:30 the people who died because of the torches in scylla's lair would love to have a chat with you about that😂
The bag kept the storm trapped, not the God who created it. I like to imagine Posiedon sitting on the coast of Ithaca for ten years, waiting and rehearsing a speech for when Odysseus got home. Tapping his foot, causing minor earthquakes as he grows impatient.
Remember Charybdis from Slime, this is what it's based on.
Comedy = largely sad but has a happy ending
Tragedy = Largely happy but has a sad ending
OUR BOY IS FINNALY HOME LET"S GOOO! Also Ithaca Saga will destryo you emocionally (in a good way) like rest of fandom too. And like ppl said the best is watch it on live stream that was held as watch party witch whole cast. Also fun fact: in cannon animations Odysseus used the wind bag as fricking jetpack lmao
Fun facts with 600 Strike-
While fighting Poseidon, several motifs return. One is from Charybdis, the “Hoooolding on!” tune
When Odysseus turns to Poseidon before he starts torturing him, the ‘Different Beast’ theme starts playing.
If you got emotional from the echoes of the dead helping Odysseus you're gonna bawl your eyes with what happens in the Ithica saga
The look of pure joy at 4:20 and then just wtf 😅
Want to get in an endless emotional rollercoaster? Easy! Epic the musical.
08:48 was me AF in this scene 💀😂
Yeah, we are almost on Ithaca, next is the Ithaca saga! There are not much completed animatics yet, but if you watch the livestream version, it has some of the canonical animatics, comissioned by Jorge, there are not the full songs animated, but the most important parts. If you want to split the reaction by songs, better watch the first three and then the last two. Also I personally think you would really love the song 39 ("I Can’t Help But Wonder").
2:07 *slightly hysterical laughter*
😈😈🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ahhh! I've been so excited for this reaction!
Loved your reaction to Get in the Water. Your face when the trident stabs Odysseus shows how invested and attached you are to his quest.
I agree with watching the livestream! It's so sweet watching their reactions. Also buckle in, the Ithica saga is emotional, I cried a few times
Absolutely love your reactions to this series cant wait for the Ithica saga. You introduced me to this series and ive enjoyed, cried, morned but LOVED every moment. I also love how you called Odysseus "a Monster TO Monsters". So Ture. Fingers crossed for that happy ending
10:59 me when they brought in letters into math
There are several people I love that react to Epic, but i haven't felt motivated to watch the live stream version of most of them yet. But i have really enjoyed your reactions/felt like you reacted the way I have felt during this journey so I'd be super excited to watch you react to the livestream with the cast, etc.
Bruhhh these need to come out more frequently lol I can't wait a whole week mannnn, you might as well do the whole Saga if its comin out next week.
Omg, the last 2 songs of the Ithaca saga animatics by Dray are just what we needed. Recommend 100%.
He is not ready for the last saga.
now we wait for another long time for him to watch the Final saga, i never watched it myself, i like watching it with him for the first time, i don't want to watch it alone, so 🎵PLEASE don't make me doooo this🎶, 🎶Don't make me dooo this🎵
18:35 quite literally actually.
For the ithaca saga, there aren't many full animatics so i really really recommand watching the cast premiere party (it's a recorded live stream) you just have to go all the way to the itacha saga part (it also has the cast reaction for the finally and i'm sure you'll love it!)
everytime somebody reacts to the final saga i wish they would react to the livestream instead so i’d love it if you did so!!😭😭
Loving your reactions. Highly reccomend that for the next saga, you listen to the first three songs in one video, and the last two in the next
23:25 Exactly like Zeus said at the beginning - "The blood on your hands is something you won't lose, all you can choose is whose."
From the start of the Trojan War, Epic's version of Odysseus was never given a peaceful option.
This version of the waiting is so uplifting. But in cannon they are dragging him down like “yes join us your prick.”
I so enjoy your reactions to this whole story..thank you!
@12.33 remember the prophet from the underworld - "I see you draw your final breath"
I would highly suggest for Ithaca Saga to watch tge livestream. The animatics are amazing but you also get to see the cast's reaction which is super sweet and beautiful.
However you should know the last saga is an emotional rollercoaster but fantastic
Also Jorge's vocals in the Ithaca Saga will surprise you
