I am planning to read all historical fiction in June. I am going to read mostly WW2 books. I have to look at my shelf and see what I want to read. Thank you for watching! Oh do you have a favorite WW2 book?
You should check out my list! I did a video where I talk about World War Two books not splashed all over book tube! Although I think you might have mentioned a few in this video! Those who save us was one of them if I remember correctly!
The Ruta Sepetys books are connected. Read Between Shades of Gray first, if you still can. 😁 They have a character overlap somehow, I just can't remember how exactly.
Oh well, I will have to go backwards since I didn't pay very good attention to their order. I still think I will enjoy it. I do want to try other books by her in the future as well.
Some great sounding books! I love WWII era books! Another interesting one about internment camps is "Farewell to Manzanar" by Jeanne Wakatsuki Houston. It's a true story.
I have Children of the Stars on my tbr. I plan to read it for Katie's translated prompt (can't remember what month that is off hand and I dont have my reading journal with me). If you'd be interested in buddy reading it let me know.
I haven't read any of the books you talked about. But I want too, now! They all sound so good!
Well let me know if you want to borrow any. As I was reading I wanting to start some right away!
Ok I will!
While Paris slept sounds really good!! I’m also a fan of world war 2 fivtion!

Thank you for watching. I will put that on my list to find. I haven't heard of that author. True stories are the best too.
I found this book at my library sale! I have it in my latest book haul video! Thank you!

I would love to buddy read that with you. That prompt is in June I believe.
@@AlmasBookJourney I've made a note to reach out to you in May to schedule this for June
That sounds great@@JaneReads
I enjoyed Until Leaves Fall in Paris and When Twilight Breaks. Sarah Sundin has become a favorite author.
She has a new one coming out, but I really need to read the ones I already own!!
@@AlmasBookJourney yes she does. I just finished reading it as I had an arc.
There are a few you mentioned I want to hear this month.
Yes, there are some good ones in there.
A night divided IS NOT a ww2 book I just finished it today it is in the 1960s when the Berlin Wall went up and they have to get to west Germany.
Oh I thought it took place right after the war. Thanks for that. What did you think of the book?
@@AlmasBookJourney it’s pretty good but the part where Müller died made me upset:(
