It was just one week ago that our oldest daughter traveled from the US to the Philippines for the first time and brought her boyfriend along to share in the experience. After a few days exploring Metro Manila, we all flew to Coron island for 4 nights in off-grid houseboats run by the ancestral Tagbanwa tribe. But today, we’re trading simplicity for luxury and taking a short trip to experience one of the most exclusive private island resorts in Palawan. Can the rooms, food, and adventure at this Coron hotspot possibly top the last?

My sister, my Filipino husband and I will be flying to the Philippines on July 10th. It will be my sister’s first time out of the U.S. and my first time back to the Philippines in 9 years. I can’t wait to see my wonderful Filipino family and enjoy the beautiful country.
Spent a week there in January and it was amazing - seeing the resort in your video brings back lots of fond memories. The staff were amazing and we think of them often. Everyone was so kind and accommodating. Seeing the flight of the bats every night will be something we remember for the rest of our lives, and the resort has such an outstanding house reef.
The thing with Coron is that it is beautiful on camera but being there, in real life, is just on another level.

You are soooo right! Coron is considered one of the finest Crown Jewels among the many Paradise Islands in the country. Coron offers so much more fun activities to do, different raw adventure activities to take, and lots of wonderful moments and memories to cherish! Priceless!

@@livethephilippines i live in California...the Bay Area and i have 2 huge calamansi trees in my backyard overflowing with calamansi fruit. filipino stores also usually sell a can of frozen concentrated calamansi called Manila Gold. just mix with water. it's good in my opinion. 🙏🐠🍹

Your family inspires me a lot. Being born and raised outside the country, I didn't have the opportunity to travel around my motherland with my family, because we only returned to the Philippines for a month to stay in my hometown. Now that I recently turned 22, I'm excited to finally create new adventures! 5 months ago my partner and I went to the Philippines together for the first time without parents and managed to do a little more activity. We can't wait to return next year and perhaps travel to Palawan!!😍

We love getting massages and facials in the Philippines when we visit because it is cheap and much better compared to getting one here in US. As usual, I love Colt’s energy and passion.
