Mason and Regan are so polite and lovely. I sense that even if they didn't truly like something, they still said something positive about it. I think it's rare for teenagers these days to have good manners and be reserved. They were raised well.
Thank you so much. We really appreciate that and we’re proud of both of them for trying everything and having manners. They really did enjoy almost everything there.
@@livethephilippines I don’t see anything that is criticizing the kids… I do think it’s a bit ridiculous to post public videos, using kids as a centerpiece, and then react this way if someone says something negative. I just want to point out that "Malacañang" is pronounced with the in the name making the /k/ sound, not with the /s/ sound. Other than that, I appreciate the effort you put in to say the names of the dishes. With some feedback, you guys will nail it slowly but surely. And boy, do I have a lot more feedback with pronunciation and stress! 😆 Also, props to Colt for nailing the pronunciation of "tiyula itum!" Speaking of Colt, I think he just wants to eat at the 17:45 mark... Maraming salamat for your appreciation of Filipino culture! I hope Reagan sees why you guys love it here!
I can tell by just listening to your words that paints a thousand meaningful appreciations of the culture , the food and the country brings a whole dynamics to your audience. Keep on and keeping on! Thank you exploring the country’s greatest treasure.
Mine two. Alongside Brazo de Mercedes. And anything mango, so along with the Emo Mango Obsession will be top on my list when i visit Cabel. It's a dream location since people know the vicinity of the palace is off limits sometimes. Thank you fam for showing us around.
It’s nice to see that Reagan and mason enjoyed the native Philippines dishes. I hope they will also enjoy the beautiful beaches we have in our country.
I am grateful for your efforts in promoting Filipino cuisine and culture and for encouraging your older daughter and her boyfriend to appreciate it as well. Thank you Phil and Erin for a very informative and entertaining vlog. Good to see Regan, the swimmer in your family. Regan, you picked well in choosing Mason. He is an awesome dude. ‘
Erin, you are the BEST... Well-deserved EMO drink! 🥳 I love how you joyfully try out things. You are such a good sport even in the face of mispronounciations or whatnot! 🥰
Beautiful family. You love your Wife and Children very much. I think it is good that you are raising them in the Philippines. You are a good Father and Husband. I think Colt will make a wonderful TH-camr someday. You have the Heart and Soul of the Filipino. Maybe you were even Asian in your Past Lives.

HALUIN ( means to mix) u pronounce it as HALU-IN HALO is the root word means MIX. So it's also appropriate to call to it mix mix. Nways...nice content guys.. ur becoming more Filipino now...mabuhay

Hello friends! This is a nice video. We'll be going to the Philippines next year for vacation and will certainly try Cabel restaurant. Thank you for sharing!

I love this episode. It's good to see your family enjoying proper Filipino food. Sans Rival is one of my favorite Filipino desserts. I'm not skipping 3 minutes ad for this. 😊
This is a very informative video. As a Filipino myself, watching this video in the U.S.A.,I miss them food, especially the halo-halo (but I don’t miss the ampalaya). Thank you all for sharing your thoughts and experiences in the Philippines. Also, you all pronunciation of Tagalog words are improving. Keep it up and wish you all the best time. God bless. ❤😊
Actually the HaloHalo got it's name on how it should be eaten.. you have to mix it first plain and simple. HALOHALO - Mix Mix! Any other dish whatsoever is a MIX of ingredients.. and of course we don't name all these dishes as HALOHALO.
Halo-halo isn't a made-up word for this dish in Tagalog. It's an actual adjective whose synonyms are various, assorted and diverse. Halo-Halo as mix-mix is broken English.
Recently discovered this channel. Good vibes everywhere! If you haven't yet, you might to try filipino fine dining places such as linamnam. Definitely looking forward to more videos.

There’s a Museo ng Macanang. Your friend from Cabel might be able to hook you up to get a tour of Malacanang Palace. By the way Malacanang is pronounced as “Mala-kan-yang” whereas the C sounds as K.
