Can you PLEASEEEEEE tell me where the torch feature is. I’m stressing myself out over here. I don’t understand why they didn’t just leave it in the settings?! 😩😫
I like Filmic Pro a lot. But I use it more for static or mostly static shots. So my short video series on my channel “Limeliting” it was all interview style with multiple iPhones and so multiple angles. But for the my new stuff on my personal channel. It’s much more vlog style. It’s outdoors… so really hard to adjust light as I run through aspens and ponderosa’s, it’s more run and gun. My only big part right now is really only the log style so I can edit color better and use my own outs for quicker color editing.
Make your courses for Cinema P3. You said it yourself, Blackburn is working hard on a great app and is customer service oriented. I think Filmic burned their bridges. They had many options to treat their existing customers better. The people have spoken. Most of us aren’t interested in the overpriced subscription model. If you choose to make your courses for Filmic, you’ll be limiting your sales to pros that are already everyday users. That seems like a waste to me. Thank for sharing your thoughts👍🎬
Oh, I’m not saying that I’m not going to do one for P3. I’m just debating whether to do one for FiLMiC Pro as well. That is something I’m definitely exploring as well. Thanks for watching!
Hey, Blake. So as I've said before, I've subscribed, but like you, only for one year. I did this for the same reason as you. I've been here since the beginning and I'm giving them the chance to show me that it'll be worth it. So far, the only thing that has changed is the interface, as you've stated. It's nice but I am, like you, waiting for those innovations. I'm hoping that the updates will be something that continues to make me smile. Not sure if they can do this with the hardware they already have or will they have to wait for Apple or Android to make some significant moves. Either way, as a loyal customer, I'm here for the next year. We'll see... Thanks for the vid!
This is probably my favorite th-cam.com/video/jJ9B89LF99g/w-d-xo.html and there are some others here th-cam.com/video/xsucDl7Tivw/w-d-xo.html. Thanks for watching!
I will continue to use Filmic Lecacy for a liitle while at least. I am lucky in as much as I do have both the Beastcam App and Cinema P3 (thank you Blake for bringing P3 to our attention a while back) so will definately not be subscribing to Filmic V7!
Yeah. If you go weekly it’s more expensive. The annual is now $49.99/year. The weekly is really for people who just want to use the app on a per project basis, so you activate it for a week or two, then turn it off.
$50 a year is too much for me so I stopped using FilmicPro. I was using ProTake but after I learned about Cinema P3 from you, I’ve been using that.
Totally understand, and those other apps are solid anyway.

Torch is under the Hardware menu settings.

If it works for you and you’re used to it then I’d probably keep it. Their log profile is pretty good.
Make your courses for Cinema P3.

Yeah, totally agreed. Definitely curious to see how this all plays out. Thanks for watching!
Qué tal? Buen día. Excelente video. Qué aplicación alterna planeas usar o sugieres usar? Definitivamente he dejado de usar Filmic Pro.

Sounds like a plan, thanks for watching!
I mean, for work… you can tax exempt it as work related product…
$50 a year is too much.
For new users it looks to be $156 per year. $3.99 per week. For a new person, that’s too much.

@@BlakeCalhoun I only get an option for $2.99 per week.
