Madonna della Corona & Lake Garda - The PERFECT Itinerary for One Day in Veneto, Italy

Come along with us today as we share the perfect one day itinerary for your trip to Veneto, Italy - visiting the Madonna della Corona (via Spiazzi, Italy) and the prettiest town on Lake Garda; Lazise, Italy!
Tucked away in the Veneto region, in the mountains of Northern Italy are two amazing travel destinations: the Madonna della Corona (featuring le stazioni Madonna della Corona) and Lake Garda (Lago di Garda). In this video we'll provide our Lake Garda Travel Guide, including: how to reach Lake Garda by car, what to do on Lake Garda, and places to visit on Lake Garda (especially Lazise, Lake Garda).
Drive to Spiazzi - Your day will begin with a scenic (and somewhat intimidating) drive through the Italian countryside to Spiazzi. There is a FREE parking lot available here, the turn off looks like this indicated by the blue P sign.

Visiting Spiazze - Spiazze, quaint and pastel colored, it could be mistaken for a Wes Anderson film set. Definitely set aside some time to walk around and take in the town before ordering a cappuccino, as well as your bus tickets, At La Lanterna, which is located here and looks like this:

Getting to Madonna della Corona - The shuttle bus departs right from the center of town, just across the street from La Lanterna, and is just 3 euro round trip (departs every 30 min starting at 9 AM, every 15 min on Saturdays starting at 10 AM.)
Visiting Madonna della Corona - Built in 1522, the Madonna della Corona is impossibly beautiful. No pictures or videos could ever do it justice - and that is a good thing because you absolutely cannot film here. The ground and church are free to enter, but there are plenty of opportunities to donate and a gift shop for souvenirs.
Drive to Lake Garda/Lazise. It is a 30 min drive from Spiazzi to our recommended destination on Lake Garda; Lazise, Italy. Lake Garda is the largest lake in all of Italy, and Lazise features epic views of its crystal clear waters and the mountains beyond. Once you arrive, the most easily accessible, and largest car park is HERE and is only 2 euro per hour:

Packed with outdoor vendors and open air cafes, an incredible view of Scaligero Castle and free access to the local beach - Lazise is one of the best ways to experience Lake Garda. Enjoy spending the rest of the day here before heading back home with memories that will last a lifetime - and maybe some leftover pasta too!
