BUT the ones listed in Camden, Newark, Patterson, and Atlantic City are all surrounded by areas you don't want to be in. As Clark Griswald said "Roll am up".
This was a great list, but as a point of fact, Batsto is not in Hammonton at all. Hammonton is simply given as its address. Hammonton is in Atlantic County, separated from Batsto by Mullica Township. Batsto is in Washington Township, Burlington County.
Leonard J Buck Garden is a beautiful landscape rock garden that isn't too crowded. I went on a sunny winter day, and it was mostly empty & very pleasant. Ocean Grove has a beautiful collection of old Victorian and Queen Anne-style homes within a few blocks of the ocean, just south of Asbury Park. It's a much larger collection of such homes compared with Cape May. And a great time to visit any of the oceanside boardwalks is during the wintertime or slightly off season. Go on a nice sunny day without too much wind and enjoy a nice walk near the water & ocean air without needing to pay for parking as you would during the popular summer months (or parking several blocks away to avoid paying for parking).
Alaire Village, Newbridge Landing, The Appalachian Trail, Historic Morristown, WW2 cement ship at Cape May, original AM/FM Tower on the Palisade Parkway, The Palisade Cliffs, Silent Film Museum Fort Lee where Hollywood originated, 9/11 memorial in Weehawkin, Pine Barrens, Hessian Barracks in Trenton...to name a few.
This video was just marvelous and that's coming from a born and bread Jersey Girl. Although I have been to most of the sites featured here in this video there are several I was not even aware of. Well, now what i'm doing this coming weekend? Perhaps a trip to the glowing caves or a stroll through Clinton. Just lovely. - Thank You all for making this informative and beautifully done work
Throw in the Greenwich Tea Burning Monument in the little historic town of Greenwich, in Cumberland County, on the Cohansey River, a tributary of the Delaware River.
Great video on New Jersey. I used to live about 12 miles from Batsto village in Elwood,Millica Township,Atlantic County from Saturday,December 14, 1963 to Sarurday,June 21,1969. It's a terrible rotton shame that New Jersey & California are always being criticised, insulted and I also lived in California. Most of those that criticise and insult both New Jersey & California have never been in both states and sadly never will visit them either.
you missed the Stueben House in I Believe it is in Hackensack or New Milford in Bergen County (which is also dubbed the birthplace of nj). George Washington was to have spent a few nights there when passing through it is a great museum and you can take tours.
It's a real shame what's become to NJ it's a total dump over population over taxed can't afford to live here anymore all of NYC has moved here traffic jams everywhere
This ain't cuttin' it. I'd either edit half of these out or take it down. 6 comments after more than 3 years? All bad? Take it down. It's an embarrassment. Definitely turns more people off than on - born in Paterson.
It was so much different 60-70 years ago. I was born and raised in Bergen County. It just hurts so much to see all the changes there have been. Most aren't for the better.
@@joeyjamison5772 Regrettably it's getting like that in so many places that used to be nice ... all built up , overdeveloped , overcrowded , heavy traffic and prices going up and up .

You can always do the nursing home and gated community tours then.
Paterson, 1 T get it right clown
Speak for yourself.
We all aren’t scared little girls like you. I enjoy interacting with people from a variety of communities.
LOL, The Atlantic City one is Right Off the Boardwalk, well-monitored and patrolled.

Grounds For Sculpture, Thomas Edison's laboratory and house, Paterson mountain, Hindu mandir in Robbinsville, Allaire village, etc.

I’d add Washington’s Crossing just outside Trenton

Wow, lived in New Jersey all my early life and never saw this! 3:16

As someone who was born and raised in jersey, I really haven’t experienced all the glory’s of jersey. Oh boy here I got on an adventure 😂

Guttenberg in the 70's. You could drink at 18 then. Good times.
The suburban sprawl of the US is terrible. The US made a big mistake in making its cities in a grid pattern and car orientated.
Garden state new jersey I still have beutiful memory's
Some time I miss my friends ❤️🤣 God bless America and people of America 💞♥️☮️🇺🇸🇵🇰👍🏻
What would be beautiful is if you did a little proof reading prior to posting
Sorry been there, Jersey is old and crappy. People are stubborn and rude. Armpit of the country.
I am from Berkeley Heights ❤. Thank you 🙏 for including Feltville.
This LZ is still pretty hot sir maybe we should surf some place else."What do you know about surfing major your from goddamn New Jersey".
There is magnificent poem about the great falls. Wish I could remember who wrote it. He was a friend of William Carlos Williams.
What is the poem?
I’m sorry I don’t know it. But if you look up WCWilliams…they corresponded. They also write about the largest Pearl ever found. Good luck
@@andicastro1203 Thanks.
Maybe it was the guy thrown off the bridge in the Sopranos.
@@billp4 some sad shit. Dude said he didn’t wanna live no more
I’d bet 75% or more people in NJ don’t know of the falls in Paterson
DON'T CARE EITHER.
Lived in NJ most of my life and had heard of them but never visited until there was an event there.
how you put a clock under “hidden gems”
We give up.

Hey, ain’t that first spot the place where Tony Soprano’s boys threw the guy off the bridge ?
I don't know about the bridge but they dumped a body in a PA quarry that used to be called Dutch Springs
Next time please consider Eagle Rock Reservation.

Southern is still okay in my book.

Other than that, it's a great place. I was born and raised there. And then left. And won't ever go back.
JERSEY is the laughing stock of the country. What a garbage pit.
The meadowlands, the Newark oil tank farm, etc… jk…. Lived in north jersey GSP exit 172….
The Meadowlands boat tour? Not very eco-friendly cruising around in green water and I'm not talking about algae!
We must Make America 🇺🇸 Great Again. New Jersey used to be the Greatest easy State of TheUSA.
Let's do it Again
ITS THE ARMPIT OF THE COUNTRY.
its still the greatest state
No Allaire Village?
No Edison's workshop?
It's Sterling Hill Zinc mine. Not Silver

That's the only good thing they could find in Jersey City
