@damsen978? The fact Marvel 2 is a game that lasted 24 years is a testament that you can play this maybe forever. A depth that will outlast probably all modern fighting games. That’s like saying practicing a martial art isn’t worth it because a black belt isn’t guaranteed or worth effort.

On a side not; I love how the Switch is becoming a convenient fighting game device that can be used in tournaments like that reveal trailer eas suggesting. Just bring a Switch and an arcade stick and you good.
You could also do the same with a Steam Deck or ROG Ally.
@@Levi_Skardsen True, but honestly; while the Switch ain't exactly a pocket device; it is more modular, pocket friendly, inexpensive, has better battery life and convenient to use; than any hybrid PC or even emulation handheld. And since we talking about retro fighting games; the added bulk and form factors of the hybrid PC's is not necessary at all for this case.
Bro steam deck is only slightly bigger than the switch but it plays fighting games the switch can’t as well.

I did try it out at PAX. Just hope the Capcom actually puts back the arcade music in the release instead of using Dreamcast as I also told the Capcom rep that as well for feedback.

Theyre giving us 2 collections with 15 brand new games! Theyre releasing MVC 1 and 2 and Power Stone 1 and 2 usually game companies wait to release the sequel but Capcom did us all a favor by releasing all of these brand new games!

Its an unnecessary L they don't have that basic function tbh. And as a side note it would have been nice if they had a custom colors option too considering the mod color schemes online would be sick.

not the best solution but you could create a save state after picking characters/match start and then just load the save state after the match. But a rematch option would of been great
M. Bison recently got modded to have an air dash, and they have had color edits for a while now, but adding features isn't really something these programmers know how to do anymore
In homage to these great players the high score leaderboards should have had their initials 1. J.W 2.SAN 3. YIP etc

Please tell us whats been changed. Is juggernaut glitch truly gone from mvc2 in this build? Did they remove anything else?
It seems they also removed glitches that stalemate the game like gambit glitch, which was a good idea. But they need to put Jugg's glitch back. Keep making noise about it and maybe they will. I honestly don't think they did it intentionally.
Why do I feel like I've never actually seen Justin play Magneto until today. Like I was 100% sure he had one. But I don't think I ever saw it until today.

I used to play this casually vs the bots, sometimes with friends but we didn't know how broken this game really was. Part of me wants to buy this and really try to learn it but if I'm gonna be running into the same 5 characters using the same busted tactics then idk how much fun I'll have... what are yall's thoughts?
at medium to lower levels a lot of characters and oddball teams are viable, things only get more strict once you're playing at a high level, which honestly is not where most people are at lol
