Adele here, hi Jeff, this Hoya plant has very beautiful large leaves. I would love to see it when it gets larger on a bigger trellis. Lovely. Enjoying all your planty content. 😁🍁🆒

Many thanks for another wonderful video and for all the Hoya information. Your Hoya is beautiful! Loved seeing Pickles. She is so precious and she looks at you with so much love in her eyes. 🥰Loved seeing your prop boxes as well. Take care and.stay well! 👏🌿🥰💚
Fantastic video on this beauty! Thank you so much!!! 😍 How moist do you keep your perlite for propagating? 🤔 Is there any standing water in the bottom? Give pickles a kiss for me me! He's adorable!!! 😍
I love this Hoya. So much so I checked online. Ridiculously expensive. It’s a shame. So many beautiful plants I want but so expensive. I will never pay silly prices for plants. I’m a new subscriber. Really enjoying your straight forward content. Thanks.
Hi there, I bought a rooted cutting and a year on it’s bushed out quite a bit! I would really recommend getting rooted cuttings as they’re a lot cheaper and you can treat them the same as a normal plant - just pop it in soil and it’ll grow by itself
Hello! These hoya are still pretty difficult to find around here as well. I've only seen them at one plant shop around here. 30K.....I KNOW! That is pretty crazy 🤪
Hey Carol. I have mine in regular house humidity. Where I am in the Canadian prairies, our winters get extremely dry and it doesn't mind the lower humidity
Hi Jeff! Gorgeous Hoya! So when you stress it by letting it dry out, do you change your watering habits after you see buds forming on the peduncles? I’ve heard that while the buds are developing, they like a little bit more water or they might blast easier.. Or do you keep your watering the same by letting it dry out all the way, even when buds are developing? I have tiny buds on my retusa right now.. 🤞😮
Funny that you mention that....Whenever I see a flower cluster I immediately check the leaves and soil and if it needs water then I rush over to the sink to give it some water. I have had a couple hoyas start the flower blooms only to just fall off. So I'm not too sure if that is anything I did or something else.....but yes I water when I notice the peduncle.
Thanks for sharing Pickles, she is adorable and apparently really loved and very well taken care of.
Thanks for watching!
Hi Pickles, 🐕😍
Gosh darn Jeff, that's a pretty Hoya! 💜Pencil

It truly is....do you have one?
@@EverythingPlants I have two plants, but they haven’t bloomed yet. They are still babies, I suppose.
That’s so pretty! Hi Pickles!
Thanks! This one and the polyneura and pottsii are my fav hoyas.
So pretty. I want one. But its so difficult to get one in my country. You are almost 30K. Insane!

What is the plant in between the rubber tree and the aglaonema on the left @1:15
There are two aglaonemas....Christina Marie and Juliette. I have another regular green ficus elastica in the frame as well.
How much humidity does it need? Beautiful hoya.. how about using Orchid pot?
Hey Carol. I have mine in regular house humidity. Where I am in the Canadian prairies, our winters get extremely dry and it doesn't mind the lower humidity
Is the care of the finlaysonii the same as the callistophyla?
Hey Daniela. I treat them the same. My finlaysonii is much smaller, but nothing really changes.
@@EverythingPlants Great Thank you, I just got the cutting and am so excited to see it grow. Thanks for your videos.😊
💚💚
👍
Just wondering, are the buds very dark before the flower opens? Mine are, so I was wondering if that normal. Yours is beautiful 💚
You know....I didn't even notice at all. If it flowers again, I'll be sure to pay attention.
Where location are you in Canada?
