      You are very welcome and thank you for watching and for the comment. I like to be as honest with these products as I can be. For example I had to tell people I couldn't recommend the the Thieye 4k action camera. While the video quality was one of the best out there, it was missing way to much for me to recommend it to anyone.

      Thank you. This was part of a series of videos on budget action cameras that are waterproof without their outer case. I'm getting ready to add yet another camera to that series and it's another one from XTU. So be looking for that one to be out soon. And thanks again for watching and for commenting.

    Nice video, always helpful. Question, I just received my V40 and I noticed that you cannot have EIS and Distortion Calibration on at the same time....your thoughts.....thanks.

    • @HayesTech
      @HayesTech  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, I noticed that too and even mentioned that in the video somewhere...lol .. I forget exactly where it was now though. My guess is that the same technology is used for both features (by cropping in on the image). So you have to choose one for the other.

    • @NeilH2007
      @NeilH2007 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@HayesTech i think you're right.....BTW Akaso V50 Elite does the same thing also the V50 elite only allows EIS in the Wide setting....so definitely crop related.....i appreciate the comeback.....your videos are very informative..

      Thank you for the positive comment, I really do appreciate it. And like I said in the video, If you don't need supper slow motion, this camera isn't that bad.

      @@HayesTech Ya know...most of the Gopro knock offs are pretty good....FYI I just returned a Hero 9 due to the audio popping which doesn't seem to be fixable, but i will say the video quality and stabilization were outstanding......too bad they couldn't get it together with the audio issue.

      For a time I had nothing to do and then all of a sudden I have several videos to do. Not enough time in the day...

    on another review on this camera he used a usb mini microphone but i cannot find it anywhere to buy online so ive no idea where got it from.

    • @HayesTech
      @HayesTech  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's a good question. But I am sure that any of the USB type mics, from other cameras like this one (like Akaso) would work for the Campark. They all use the same USB mics.

    How long is the battery backup of this camera if i record video in 2K?

    • @HayesTech
      @HayesTech  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I've never really tested how long batteries last in the cameras. I do know that 1080p gets the best battery life per image quality. There's not much difference between 2k and 4k as far as battery goes too.

  • @SurvivalSavvvy
    @SurvivalSavvvy 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Quite a few bad reviews with battery life being 30min and the 4k are not very clear. Also, It doesn't support a microphone. That's a deal-breaker for me.

    • @HayesTech
      @HayesTech  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, I said all those things, excerpt for video quality, in this video. The quality of the 4k is actually just as good as both the Akaso cameras I reviewed. But this camera is lacking in not having 2k 60fps, 1080p 120fps and 720p 240 fps.
      The stabilization on this small camera was actually pretty good. but if I had to choose between this and the Akaso brave 7 LE, I'm going with the Akaso.

      @@HayesTech Will you be sending it back?

    • @HayesTech
      @HayesTech  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SurvivalSavvvy
      No. It's nothing wrong with the camera itself. It's just lacking in key areas. I purchase all the cameras I review do I'm stuck with it...lol.. With that said though, it's not a bad camera. The audio coming from it isn't terrible and the video quality, in sun shine, is really good too. I may give it away when I'm done making videos on it too. We will see.

  • @OkieRoamer
    @OkieRoamer 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Thanks for the review, not sure if i missed it, but what is the battery life like in this camera? I will probably only be shooting in 1080 or 2k. Also, can you take photo's while recording?

    • @HayesTech
      @HayesTech  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      No, you didn't miss is, I actually don't post battery times because it varies from 1080p to 4k and even frame rate (30fps/60fps and so on). I know when shooting in 4k it uses a lot of battery and to get the best battery time, I would stick to 1080p 30fps.

    Why is the footage jumping from 18:04 onwards ?

    • @HayesTech
      @HayesTech  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      This was just editing jump cuts. I didn't use a smoothing filter. I've been using less filters lately.

    • @AustinPetDetective
      @AustinPetDetective 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@HayesTech Ok, not sure what a smoothing filter is, or how a filter would cause the footage to run without jumping ?

    • @HayesTech
      @HayesTech  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AustinPetDetective
      When I said smoothing filter I meant transitions. That's just what I call them, I guess I should have realized that before I hit the send button. I have to get my lingo correct whenever I enter these questions... Lol.
      But basically I would cut out stuff I didn't want and instead of putting a smooth transition between the two video clips, I used no transitions. That's why it jumps.
