Man the composer or remixer is so damn clever for this one. Being a huge Megaman fan I really never understood why in this music piece they played Protomans Whistle but off key for the longest time. UNTIL I REALIZED that the Offkey Protoman whistle is actually Darkman when he is disguised as Protoman hahahaha!

Proto Man's whistle is the cherry on the top
This is technically Darkman's whistle cause like in the original game Darkman used the "same" whistle with a difference that is impossible ti miss when you listen to it/both of them

The extension is the intro and title themes which were two of the songs I wanted in

This song feels like it goes through a whole story. One of my favourites.
This theme is amazing.
Let's also mention that it doesn't use the electric guitar at all, which makes it even better

@@ThePengumCrew yes xd, I put the comment before playing Mega Man 5 in the Legacy Collection because I was just getting into the games and the fandom, but since I played it I discovered in the Wiki that Beat was the weakness of 3 of the Dark Man and so I finished it

This theme should’ve been Wily stage music, not robots music. Too good for a bot; good enough for a boss. Just saying.
Actually not a fan of this remix. Making the dark man stage music sort of genericized hi-NRG kills the mood of desperate finality the original had. It should have started with the 2nd movement (around 2:00) and expanded on that, which is closer to the original feel.
Idk how you think this remix is generasized. I beleive it adds way more to the orginal especially with the protoman whistle at the start.
Heck I could see this working as a alternative to megaman 5s intro.

The original feel is literally playful and bouncy lmfao
the "second movement" is the game's intro theme. also, the mood of "desperate finality" is probably just something you cooked up in your head through the song being associated with the game's final set of levels; if you listen to it without that context, it's a pretty cheerful tune. lol
