Spoiler alert: yes you can play your PS5 in the Vision Pro. It was launched with this ability
I love the leaving windows around the house. Now I can add digital clutter to my physical clutter!
Digital Hoarding is REAL, now realized…
😳
To each person that have the Vision Pro……..love mine.
Me too!
How often do you use it?
@@KiidHunter Several times a week. Always looking for new stuff.
Any VR headset user will tell you that you wont be using it much longer lol
@@eon5323 You must not be a VR user. I have the Quest 3 and Apple Vision Pro. I use them both regularly. I bought both day one release.
The new has worn off for me, but man I still love it, such an amazing device for watching movies and shows. Honestly don’t see the point in movie theaters anymore now that I have Apple vision pro
Not even for enjoying movies with friends?
@@MichaelBTechYou’re not one of those who talks during the film are you…
I just might cancel my monthly theatre membership, VP allows me to have a better screen and size, and in APPLE Cinema Mode I can sit and view where I want…
🤔
@@superzero4250 No but I guess this AVP we should all just gravitate to watching movies by ourselves
@@MichaelBTech Let me guess, you are one of those that talks to friends during the film that others have to shush…
😳
100% agree with Joanna. I got my AVP on release day and there's friction and an intentionality needed to want to use it now. Also, I use it mostly for watching... I've watched more movies in the past month than ever before. It's an incomparable video/film watching experience. I do use it for work, but find that I have to have it paired to my Mac and I can' t work at my desk doing it. I usually work from a more spacious environment like my kitchen table.
Love my Vision Pro ❤
I've had mine for two weeks and absolutely LOVE it. Pillow case and all. I have several friends who have it and love it too. I understand critics have to be critical, but many of those that use it actually love it.
I purchased 2
AVP’s
One for me
One for my Wife
(AS A Birthday Gift)
As a 51 yr old man
( pre social media
Pre Super Nintendo
Pre Sony play station )
As a man of the era of
Video games like
Pong
Frogger
Asteroids ☄️
Etc etc , I love it !!!
I keep hearing tech reviewer’s
Complain & bitch about the AVP , goodness, it’s new tech
Just enjoy THE AVP , for it being new technology!!!
We’re so spoiled !!
It’s shocking how many positive comments on here. After watching Joanna’s original review I expected this thing would end up in Apple’s storage locker. When Apple figures out how to make it 1/3 the size/weight/price I would love to have one.
there r a lot of clock apps now ....but u can just look at your real wrist watch or other clocks if u r in passthrough
I think the Vision Pro is amazing
Excellent discussion. She mentions how Apple will likely add more fitness to the Apple Vision Pro. But does she think this will be reserved for a future iteration when the device gets lighter? This was frankly why I was thinking of purchasing it but there’s been slim pickings in that category thus far (“Synth Rider”? What about Apple Fitness+?)
The biggest flaw is that is not running a version of macOS instead of iPadOS version. Apple wants sweeeeeet App Store tax + they want you to buy Mac in addition to AVP.
I love it!!
There’s a MAJOR design flaw with AVP where you can’t have a head strap that can fully support the weight of the main unit without it pushing onto your face.
If you compare it to the Quest 3 design , the side brackets can be adjusted and any third party head strap can slide onto the brackets to fully support the unit away from your face so there is no pressure.
Bit strange that Apple did not design this better with all the resources they have.
You honestly cannot compare something made of plastic with another made of metal and glass, and be surprised that physics is a real thing…
A backpack full of hard cover books feels different than one full of paperbacks of the same amount…
🤔
Have yall tried ps5 now on it yet? It does do that. Just like iPhone and iPad you can connect your controller to it via Bluetooth
The Apple Vision Pro is a $3,500 developer preview.
...And hardcore enthusiast device, too yes I suppose.
And it’s also used to make income off of TH-cam videos.
To be fair, the VISION PRO has been in development since JOBS was around… Plus they announced it several months in advance so developers can could get a head start on NEW applications or adapting existing ones…
At its core, VP is essentially an iPad Pro with a much more dynamic interface… Like when APPLE introduced the Mouse to the computing public…
🤔
@@FerdinandZebua Agreed. I'm a hardcore Apple fan and love my Vision Pro.
You can get clock apps. You don't have to rely on Apple for that.
At this price point, it has to be useful for work (thus, the Pro moniker). I'm disappointed Joanna completely dismissed that use case. It sounds like the barrier to putting it on for work came down to battery life. Otherwise, everything she said is the same for my laptop. So the entire use case is moot because of battery life?
you could play diablo on the wall with a big screen if you want on the quest via link
My main desire is using for work. I am concerned she gave it a D for work. I will buy once I hear I can get two or three Mac OS screens. May need to wait for V2.
Curious I hear this comment a lot. What is your version of a practical multiple work screen environment…
🤔
I swear... it my friends bring that to a gathering, I would say, take it off, or I'm am off. prove of friend shit.. it's like talking on a phone all the time while you are with your friend.
They mention things that already exist in the market
My quest 2
Can also play movies on a huge screen
Maybe not in the quality of the pro
But the price is also much lower
In addition, there are light and cheap products on the market
that are intended for the "mobile giant screen" experience
Why pay such amounts to Apple?
This video was a lot like the Vision Pro, it was very good, but after a while you just got tired of it.
😂
A headset is just that… a headset 🤷♂️. I mean it’s not as lightweight compared to glasses. Maybe in the future.
Convince your boos to buy you a $3500 Vision Pro and then bring someone else to do the review for you...
The personas are remarkable. She’s being silly.
They look horrible
Look up Metas codec avatars for ACTUAL realistic avatars.
[21:17] The KILLER APP for Vision Pro is the CLOCK with Battery indicator. No one has yet to stick that landing…
😳
Seems that all 3 with their wives are very limited intellectually…..put the Vision Pro on….remove it and smoothly without agonizing move on….how complicated can your lives be?
Joana stern refuses to give an overall grade because She knows its not worth it . Its a terrible overall product at 5/10. But she doesnt want to piss off Apple
Many love this product.
A woman who has a wife.
And she also has a kid.
No subscriber here.
I checked out when she said wife.
What is the point of this comment? you’re just telling on yourself as being homophobic?
You checked out a long time before that, little dude.
Hope you check back in sometime.
Wtf. Damn this comment is just sad man.
Strange declaration that you pull no one
Well, butter my biscuit and call me a unicorn, we've got a real winner here! So you're telling me you "checked out" just because the reviewer mentioned she has a wife? Hold the phone, folks, we've got a real live Sherlock Holmes on our hands! I mean, who knew someone's marital status could be so earth-shattering? Clearly, we're dealing with a tech connoisseur here, folks! Next thing you know, you'll be boycotting every app as the underlying software is written in binary, which sounds way too much like bisexual for comfort, doesn’t it? Time to rethink our whole numbering system, folks! But hey, thanks for the heads-up on your personal preferences. They’ll be sure to keep them in mind for their next riveting tech review. Until then, happy hunting for content that perfectly aligns with your oh-so-important worldview! Cheers, and may your internet journey be filled with rainbows and unicorns galore! But not in a gay way.
