I really enjoyed having my road gator fix but it is nice not having to periodically put new tie wraps on. One commenter told about a French company that makes something that looks the same as what I did except I made the footprint area larger.
Great idea.I noticed my bike leaned over alot as do other bikes but the Int is top heavy & I was paranoid the weight on the spring mechanism.So I ordered a 20mm Side Stand Riser from Baak Motorcycles in France & it works a treat & looks great but was not cheap at £86 & is alloy & a further £30 for postage so a £116 all up.The reason why postage is so expensive is they deliver it in about 4-5 days,must be air mail.Fits perfectly & is high quality & to me is worth it to keep bike up right.I seen hockey pucks glued on but glue don't last long.

Hi MAMRE, yes, it's still a mystery to me why motorcycle manufacturers always make the foot pads of side stands as small as they think they can get away with. If you are not parking on flat smooth tarmac, the chances are you will have to manipulate the bike for a while to get it into a position where the small foot pad they give you is able to support the bike with the required level of security. Since I almost exclusively park on dirt or gravel, I am looking for a similar solution for my Meteor. I do have a plastic puck from my Bullet days and I will take that with me in future, as soon as I get my cases fitted to the Meteor ( ordered the wrong bolts and the right ones seem to be on an extremely slow boat from China ! ). It just seems silly to me that solutions like yours don't come from the factory in the first place. Seems to be common amongst many manufacturers though, not just RE. If you are not parking on flat smooth tarmac, the chances are you will have to manipulate the bike for a while to get it into a position where the small foot pad they give you is able to support the bike with the required level of security.
