Those motor mounts are the Buick mounts and it looks like they were moved for the Olds motor that was in it. But either way your swap mounts are for a Chevrolet engine location.
I was thinking the same. The transdapt mounts should fit Chevelle frame mounts which the frame should be drilled for already. Having a Pontiac i bought the UMI LS mount kit, cut out all the guess work and those stock rubber mounts. Allows for movement front and back and keeps the engine low for transmission clearance without funky DL angles. I don't think a f body pan will work but the TSP Holley knock off fits perfectly.

That motor looks so much like a 455 Olds. The valve covers were similar, and the gold paint was standard.
I know there is probably a big difference in frame but the 99-06 did the same on my 85 impala and the speed engineering c10 longtubes cleared perfectly.

I love the fact that you’re using corded tools on myself like wicked battery powered tools so I bought a bunch of Milwaukee M 18 stuff and when I’m working on cars or whatever every time the battery runs out so I went back to my corded tools
I have used the flat plate moto mounts that use rubber isolation mounts. And you can use square tubing for frame mounts.
That thing is gonna b a blast to rip around
What's crazy, I recently acquired a 72 skylark post car. It's bombed in black and primer as well. It's already mid LS swap but I'm thinking of dropping my 5.3 Lt in it. This build just like your others is gonna be awesome
Them old buìck motors were torque monsters I had a friend mile that I played pool with in the pool leaugè he had a GS with a 455 and he ran with my 70 LS6 chevelle and his car was bone stock. Very nice car

Speed engineering sells headers for these cars but If you got the 1-1/4 forward Holley mounts you just have to tap the front primaries a bit to fit or they hit the crossmember. Nothing like the s10 though.

You get the eBay pan check the pickup to pan clearance. I just messed with one a friend bought and it was almost 2" from the bottom of the pan. Only one I've encountered so far but dbl check it to make sure.

Buick motor has different location on mounts. Cross member is different or holes are. Fought that battle a couple of times.

I ordered the Holley mounts. Searched for the part numbers on ebay and found everything for half the price lol
I am surprised a 4L80E trans will not fit easily in a Skylark trans tunnel due to the fact that those where designed to fit a Turbo 400. I guess the LS swap is the cause of that.

But I have a HEALTHY Buick 455 in my 70 skylark. 76 short block with 70 heads, TA212 CAM, Hads have been shaved some, S-divider intake.. motor has Round 10k miles on it. Very reliable engine.. no bs. The Buick was my daily driver until the converter took a shit. BUT! IF you was interested.. I'd be willing to trade you my drivetrain for an LS swap drive train. Runner for runner. Just needs converter. Which if need be I'll take care of before potential trade. You can hear my 455 running on TH-cam.. fatmatts garage is my old channel handle.
