- The MPC MyCar add-on interface module & downloadable smartphone app allows control of a Fortin EVO-ALL or EVO-ONE Stand-Alone remote start system. FEATURES - MyCar gives you the ability to control the following features using your mobile phone. Features include Vehicle start & stop from anywhere in the continental U.S.. This kit is a true Plug & Play kit. The wiring harness was designed to eliminate the need for the wiring connections. The installation of this product will still require the removal of your steering column cover or lower dash panel to access the connection point. However the connection is a simple plugin

Hey, great video. Just curious, so did you not have to hook up the 3 wires for battery, ignition and ground?
@Kelley Soukkeo, I believe those are connected through the ODBII port
Hello, I installed the evo-all with the carlink module, but my battery died and i tried pairing the carlink with the evo-all but nothing seems to happen. I'm able to remote start my car with the key fob , but the the module and app are not working. Do you know how to fix this ?
Great video..... Was wondering is Audi Q5 2023 different? I was told it requires an EXTRA Audi Q5 FOB for instillation which is not returned to the owner despite having to pay for it, this significantly raises the price ....

How do you make the auxiliaries work like rolling down the windows, defrost etc, I tried but I can't figure it out?

Hello, I have a 2019 Camry but its Keyed start. Are instructions to program it to remote starter the same? Instead just turn the key to the "on" position and off again after lights flicker?
They should be the same. I would give the mycar customer service a call at (888) 644-8882. Tech support should be able to help you better
Is the MPC and my car app pretty much the same app/product? I have the my car app and I'm watching videos of the MPC and they look exactly the same, even their app.

How do you reset the protocol (in the app)? Accidentally selected the wrong one.

@YourJoy Sorry I was out of town when I seen your comment. To reset the protocols, hold down the protocol button for 8 seconds and it will give you pop-up. You should be able to change it from there.

Is there any chance if you know how to change your background in the app?
I have looked through the settings and I don't see any where it can be changed. You can also call customer service at: MyCar Customer Service

Hi Rich, in evo remote starter do you have to check the box for fortin 2 or is it standerd now ?
@Danny Peter you don't have check the box. ThT is only if you want to know the status of your battery . Mine is on but I can't remember if I checked it or not...lol
If your alarm goes off those it make your phone alert you???

Hope you can help Rich, I have the Fortin Evo all , that works fine, plug and play, but the My Car module doesn't lite up when plugging in the HRN-LLRS-01 black wire. any thoughts?

hello i added the carlink6 to my prestige 997z alarm system. i can lock and unlock the doors ,start the car but i get no feedback if the car is hit or if the doors are pulled open any advice would be greatly appreciated. i used the FLCAN module for the remote start and the power doors.

I had mine installed at the dealership and it stopped working after less than 3 years. The doors lock and unlock, but the car won’t start.

How did you get the app to finally work? At first it showed N/A before you cut out then came back with it green. What did you have to do? Mine is stuck at N/A anything advice?
@Josh nonya Have to clicked the add button for your vehicle yet? You will need the serial number from the module I believe. Sorry it's been a while since I have done mine.

Battery volt and temp show but nothing works in the app it's weird
@@Misticzerx0r you may have reprogram the module again. Are the lights on the module solid red and green?
@Richard Robinson yeah it is solid red and green and yeah i tried reprograming it just in case and it is acting the same way. If i unplug it then the app doesn't show location or volt or temp so i know it's connected but just not seeming to fully work.
@Francisco R you can try uninstalling and reinstalling the app and disconnecting the module for 30 seconds. Other than that mycar customer service might be able to help: (888) 644-8882

Mines a pain in the ass it never connects to the app
You may have to move your module. I have mine underneath the dash near the top.
