This is the perfect tire if you need to commute some distance in order to reach a canyon.

Bridgestone S22 or this tyre for riding mainly UK roads in dry weather? Would the Pirelli feel more agile?

      Same question for me.

Both tires are really good. Honestly, tire pressure, suspension geometry and tire size is going to have a much bigger impact on the agility/stability trade off than which of these two tires are fitted.

@@armyofdarknessmotorcyclesb2883 I guess our question is if all things being equal, which tire would do better? S22 or pirelli corsa 2/4? I tried the 200/60 on the previous mt10 and on an sf v4s, now s22 on the bnew mt10 sp. But I don't have a long term comparison.

Hey! Sam rode the s22 on the MT-10 launch on mixed roads and was dragging knee on the the street. He rode the Pirelli on the Tuono and was also able to push hard. He says both are good but it might come down to temperature. The S22 might work a little better below 10 degree C and the Pirelli might work better above 15. On the street neither tire is going to be the limiting factor.

I would go for the S22 those tyres are better in the rain. But if you only ride in sunny days, i would go for the Pirelli

Should I expect my 2's to de-laminate since they got the "marriage" right on the 4's? Or do I misunderstand that?
maybe I misunderstand, what is the difference btwn. DIABLO ROSSO™ CORSA II & DIABLO ROSSO™ IV CORSA? are these 4's not the next gen of 2?

The 2s won't delaminate as they use a different construction. I think that tire they mixed the silica and the carbon so the whole tread portion was a mixture of the two types of rubber.
Here is an article about the compound designer of that II:
      www.armyofdarkness.com/index.php/2011/103-pirelli
The 4s are silica in the middle and SC3 carbon on the sides. They said it was tough to figure out how to get the two rubbers to live in harmony on the same carcasses.

How would these compare to the Q3+ in longevity on my 07 sv650s?

Hi Van, for street riding the DR4C would probably hold onto the profile longer. The center part of the DR4C is a more durable rubber than the Q3 while the side of the tire are comparable rubber.

@@armyofdarknessmotorcyclesb2883 Thanks for responding so quickly. I've gotten down to the carcass (the layer of rubber under the tread, right?) on rear of the Q3+, a few inches off the middle of the rear(!), so I need new tires. I'm contemplating either these Pirellis, Power 5 or maybe Road 6. Road 6 is appealing but Idk how grippy the side rubber is on them vs the Q3+ which I do like enough to be on my 2nd set. The Power 5 was going to be a likely choice until I saw this review, but again, Idk how long they'll last vs. the Q3+. Rain performance means nothing since i don't ever ride in the 🌧
Track days are always in mind regardless if I actually don't get to do it. Your thoughts please.

If you're throwing in a track day, the DR4C. Melissa was dragging knee on the track on the Road 6s so they will grip enough for the street... or, of course the Angels. A lot of us are running Road 5s or Angels on our street bikes, then SC3 or SC2 slicks for the track days. SC1 R and SC 2 front for the races.

This video was impressively uninformative about how this tire performed on a street ride!
