Just so you know as an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases, and I super appreciate the spare change it brings. I only recommend items that I use and would buy again myself. - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ
Your video is much clearer and the video screen is very comfortable👍
Do you share the drawings?
looks great
condividi i disegni ottimo progetto delle parti in alluminio
Beautiful ❤
Did you ever decide to either make aluminum parts for the plasma table available? I assume you had CNC cut files for those parts, would you make the cut files available. I have built my own CNC router that is running Mach 3 and could cut those files (albeit a little slow as my router is more for Wood than aluminum) if you decide to sell them. Let me know if either is the case and what you would charge for this. Great videos and looking forward to hearing more about this.
Nice. I’m going to get a quote from Send Cut Send any advice which parts should be metal vs 3D printed?

Do you know the name for this type of rail/carriage system? I've been looking all over and I can't seem to find how to reference this style. You may have mentioned it in the video but I didn't catch it. I'm looking into parts for a future project. Thanks for sharing :D
Not specifically, like a linear guides. Its just bearings on a tube. I wouldnt even call it a rail. Maybe a type of roller carriage system.
@@dcmotive I appreciate the response. Take care :D
Como faço para comprar sou do Brasil.
How much does it cost to make the aluminum parts vs the 3D print ?
I just used scrap aluminum so it was cheap, but if you had the machines and just compared material prices, PLA would probably be about $20 in material, and aluminum would probably be more like $40-$60.
But the TIME is much faster I'd assume.@@dcmotive
Would you be willing to make and sell a set?@@dcmotive
@@kerryholt7102 Ive thought about it. I was going to offer up the plans, and also offer some kits of the hard to make parts. Ive got it running and its really good so far. I need to finish filming and post it. Other duties have delayed me for about a month. Im also going to offer the electronics in a few different package configurations to take the mysticism out of that aspect.
@@dcmotive I'd like to switch from the 3d printed stuff over to machined parts, ill purchase a kit if or when you offer one, any idea on the price?
Hi would are you sell Y axis aluminum gantry?
I plan on selling them all together or separate, but its not an aluminum version of the 3d prints. They are smaller, more compact and are designed to use with screw drives, not belts. Although with some alterations they could be made to use with belts by someone. But it wouldnt be straight forward to use it with belts. I designed it to have the X motor off of the torch head to reduce the weight at the end of the x axis. It hangs on the Y axis gantry to balance the weight better.
@@dcmotive Sweet let me know when you are ready to sell.
Would you be willing to send/share the files for this design? I can understand if this isn't a priority since I imagine you have a life haha. Thank you 🙏
