I've discovered since filming that for 2025 this planner is not a collab with Kokuyo. It's now Bushimen solely. Additionally, the paper is not Mio paper (as there's no longer a collab) but I'm not sure yet what paper it is exactly. Some folks had issues with it with FPs but I did not in my testing shared on this video (so it may depend on the pen and ink combo you use). The paper is however stiffer and thicker than in the past making this planner thicker than in past years.
Super cool layout! I love the sticky notes too but then I have the humor of a 5th grade boy soooooo….. 😂😂! Thanks to 2 older than me bros?! 😂 Thanks for showing us this planner! 💕
I love the insert showing how to use it, I feel a little overwhelmed when I get a new planner and having examples really help me have a jumping off point
I would love to see a flip thru of a past PAL PLANNER and also you current wellness planner. So a few of you old setups...interested in the updates on those. Oh and again thank you for introducing me to yet another new to me brand. 😊
I’ll share the PAL when I do my setup for 2025. And I do plan to do a flip of my 2024 wellness at the end of the year too! Thanks for watching and for sharing you’d like to see more!!
@JustScribble Thank you ... I'm setting up my new Nolty for wellness and trying to get some other ideas. Thank you so much again for being so quick and responsive. Oh And I'm so sorry for having you have to decode all my typos above...lol.
Although there are a few other planners that I've seen over the years in the quad layout I believe that Kinbor used the PAL as their basis for their planner. One benefit of that is that now we have a B6 and A5 option in this great layout!
Yea for me it’s not enough space for everything bc I’ve got too much going on. But I have seen some good shares of some using it as their EDC they used the left for appointments and right for to-dos on the weekly. It seemed to work well for them.
The PAL planner is probably my favorite. This my 2nd year using. I don't believe Bushimen is associated with Kokuyo anymore. The paper is different than last year and she made several other changes to the 2025 (larger month, tracker pages, and a few others). The paper is thicker and more "toothy" than the MIO paper.
Interesting. I didn’t know about the change. All the videos and posts I’d seen said they were still a collab but that’s good to know. Thanks for sharing!! What do you use theirs for?
@JustScribble It's my to do list pages basically. I keep priority chores on the left box and if I have time chores on the right. The important to be done some time this week tasks get put in the open space. I've also used it as a purchase tracker. Essential purchases made on the left, "fun" purchases that i need to watch my spending on the right. Wish list in the open space along with things I need to purchase beyond groceries.

The PAL planner was one of my top considerations for 2025, this video just confirmed that I'd still really love to try one 😆
I’m so glad this video helped you make your decision!
Your voice is pleasing to listen to.
Thanks so much, I appreciate that!

Haha I get it! It’s a total 5th grade boy humor kind of situation! I thought they were so fun!
I have never seen this planner. Sad I already bought a planner for 2025-this would have been a good one!!
It’s definitely not shared as much but it’s good to keep on the radar for 2026!!

Yes it’s a super helpful addition.

I can't wait to see how you use it. ❤
Me too!! 😝 thanks Janna! I’m really excited for this one. I ordered some 2025 setup stuff for it so once that comes I’ll share and do the setup.
That must be where kinbor got its layout. The A5 Kinbor has this weekly layout. Thank you for showing us new planners I had no clue about!

Can’t wait to see how you fill it out. Using it for a specific purpose makes sense-not sure how people use it as an everything planner.

I got mine last week! I am a fountain pen lover and every fountain pen I tried worked perfectly🎉
That's awesome! I love that they had the disclaimer but that mine all worked great too!
