Having aluminum in your store is a game changer for me. 1.5" angle is half the price of me buying it at home depot! Anywhere else that can compete has outrageous shipping and yours is only $10.99, that's insane! Great job, keep it up. This definitely will help me get back to building my boat as it will take off a substantial amount of money needed. Can't wait to see what is next!
Mike, you are my inspiration (boating wise!). I spent this last summer (or at least a number of weekends) in Big River/Parker (fishing) and even ran into someone that I got into a conversation about you with. Through out your name at a tiny launch (talking about what I wanted to do to my TB) and he immediately knew who you were. I'm a contractor who is addicted to boats and TOTALLY hates maintenance. I know the limitations of wood/plywood. Have done a ton of internet research on Coosa, etc. trying to get away from any wood. I overbuild everything and hate the idea of every needing to rebuild something I have put my heart into - unless I want to, not because I need to. I've been thinking about ways to make your system all aluminum since I found your channel. You have definitely gone in that direction and I applaud you in that regard! I think you are definitely going in the right direction.
Great stuff. I’m near the chain o lakes too - I think you’re close. Going to be working on my build this winter and would love to pick your brain in person.
Wow!!! This motivates me to start working on my boat!!! Only problem I don’t have money or tools to do.😩 but imma keep it and hopefully I’ll have a really dope ass 12 foot Jon Boat
Greetings and thanks for excellent and informative content. Now then, 'Raise it up flush'?.....'Skin it'?....Rookie ears here...please help me out with what you meant by those two topics regarding the water-shielding lips you made and riveted onto the frame for your hatches?
Hay Mike I am going to get a 1648 v-haul grizzly boat brand new after my wife gets well she has breast cancer so I would like you to give me some recommendations how to do this boat billed

That thing turned out amazing. I really like the new system versus previous versions. Thank you for the video man!!
Yep that's the one I wanna model mine after! I look forward to future videos! Thanks for the awesome inspiration
Great video. This shows exactly how do recreate these dry storage areas. 👍
So how do you seal up that small angle you bent to go around the opening? Looks to me like that's a area for leakage?
Great video Mike!! Thank you :)
perfect timing for those aluminum kits i already bought mine about 5 days ago but no estimated shipping yet
spencer morrissette yeah stuff on the website takes ages lol
How would I use this style diversion system and still run all aluminum sheeting for the deck instead of wood?

Just make sure everything is even. And then we layered a rubber matting over the frame

Question, do these framing kits come with instructions and of designs for the framing or is it just the necessary aluminum to do a build
Tiny Boat Nation thank you
Would you reccomend/ Do I need a sub floor on a flat bottom boat
Thanks Mike u are the man bro
How are you. Sealing the box lip to the main rib
Is there a step by step video for this?
Still won't go out to get wood cause in my town has the most cases and deaths in the state but if sent my boat would you frame it to a catfish boat
I am not sure how to make a dry hatch flush w aluminum decking material.
I plan on Sea Decking it
You would have to make the decking the same we make the hatch but we used wood instead. It’s much more cost efficient and it does the same thing.
@@TinyBoatNation thanks I need to use aluminum. Electric only lakes I fish and run a 60V Ray. Need as light as possible. I took 300lb of wood out.
Some night action with ya lights please
