Only thing id change is having the straining tube going to the rear and not the side. I know the side was more convenient but it will be easier ti damage it having it in the side plus it will add more drag.
Great instructional video, easy to understand great illustration of all of the steps. I’m 70 yr. Old retiree going to follow your video. Keep tight lines.
I’m sure you’re asking yourself if swapping the pumps to begin with would’ve saved you all that tubing work….but we all learned a lot 😊. Nice job as usual, you are a craftsman.
I just love your attention to detail and the how much you are willing to undo things that you have already completed to make sure every last nut, bolt, rivit, tubing, etc etc is perfect. Great job... Great video... Can't wait for the rest. Thanks for sharing!!! Tight Lines!!!
Thank you sir for making this video. Very straight forward. I've watched a lot of live well videos on youtube and at the end of each I was left scratching my head. SUB!!
Great vid! Are you adding somewhere else an equivalent amount of flotation foam you removed, so you won't sink if something/someone swamps the boat? One or two part pour foam (lifeboat foam) would take advantage of the unused space around your livewell, and have the side benefit of gluing the livewell in and giving it structure so the brackets are unneeded. Cordon off an area around your pumps.
Thanks man this video just helped me big time I was having an air lock issue in my livewell and was using a water bottle truck to fix it not now thanks
Great video only thing i would be worried about would be that the pump arerator would be to strong for the tub you are using pumping to much oxygen in the water result killing the fish
You know if you installed a flow rite valve you could eliminate one pump.. one pump with a 3 way flow rite valve would let you pump water in , then recirculate , or automatically recirculate and keep adding fresh water.. and gravity drain
I didn't post a wiring video on this specific boat because I have several wiring videos on the channel that you can search on the channel. Should come right up.

Nice video thanks, one question. what size is the Drain Plug that you use for the bottom of the livewell ? Thank You.
Great instruction and quality of video! I learned a ton from watching this. Thanks for putting it out!
Pure engineering! Impressive work! Looks great! 👌

CAN YOU MAKE A BAIT TANK FOR LIVE BAIT FOR WHEN I HAVE SOME LEFT OVER.
Great job
I'm very impressed with your work that's going to be a solid livewell setup. Great job 👍🏾
Thanks Jett
Great stuff as always Cuz!!
Thank Cuz
great stuff. I'm still debating on a livewell may just use a portable one. I don't do many tournaments .
I hear you and Saud the sane thing for my 1448 and now I want one in the boat lol. I have a cooler DIY livewell for that boat.
You certainly have pride in your work! Seems like a dying art these days. Good job dude.
@@jackhutchins8272 thanks man.
you have come a long way
👊🏾👍🏾
Great video!
Thanks.
Great job!
What about your power sources and timer?
Great video only thing i would be worried about would be that the pump arerator would be to strong for the tub you are using pumping to much oxygen in the water result killing the fish
Pretty much did mine the same way but didn't run my water in from side of boat did from rear so never got the air lock issue
Nice. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Could you have used a cooler for the live well? This way you have a build in lid for it.
You could but would have to figure out how to integrate the existing cooler lid into your hatch.
Yikes! Once I i realized that strainer was on the side of the boat, had to check out . Looks like a good way to rip a hole in your hull.
Yet another awesome video! Are you going to use a stick steer? Seems like you'll be sitting on the live well lid to man your tiller.
Thanks. No stick steer. The livewell lid will be strong enough to sit on while driving the boat.
Does the pump need a switch to control off and on. Or does pump have a power switch.
Livewell pumps need a switch to turn them on and off.
Nice video
What size storage tote is this one? 14 gal?
@@adamcoenis5121 yes 14
Thanks for sharing, bro! Great job with this project! Are you selling boats?
Thanks man. I'm selling this one
@@BassBrothersFishingDMV Thanks, how do I go about finding out more about this boat?
@@dshep832 email or DM me and I'll keep you posted on when it's ready. All contact information is in the video description
Well done sir!
Where does the bottom drain in the livewell empty to?
The livewell has a pump out the side of the boat and any remaining water drains our the bottom out the back plug.
HOWCAN KEEP BAIT FISH IN MY LIVEWELL?
How much would it cost and we're do I get it
New sub... great video
Thanks, and welcome to the channel
How do you film and edit your videos.
What do you mean? Equipment, time, techniques, etc.?
What size brute tote is that?
@@LongLiveNirvana5 14 gallon

True.
Had trouble with my timer staying constantly running when turned on
Great video, thanks for the information. However, I will never support a TBN product or page for that matter.
Could you possibly show how you wired it all together?
I didn't post a wiring video on this specific boat because I have several wiring videos on the channel that you can search on the channel. Should come right up.
@@BassBrothersFishingDMV thanks for the reply. I ended up figuring out how all the wiring should go.
Great job
