My SE’s battery , which I bought in 2021, was down to 84%. There was a sale of a series 8 last month in my town, so I bought that one. 45mm. Will not need to upgrade again, unless I break it or the battery dies. Watch 12… 😂

If the blood sugar monitor works, it will be a game changer. Not just for diabetics, but I've seen people use blood sugar monitors for weight loss.

You don't need a blood sugar monitor to lose weight. You need to count calories and be in a deficit.

@@Shadman1603 yes and no. Sugar/glucose triggers storage of adipose fat. Being mindful of spikes will go a long way for many.. there is also more satiety in fat and protein macros - It can only help people compare with others and to be mindful of what we are putting into our bodies and how it affects it etc

I plan to upgrade from a first generation iPad Pro 11" to a new iPad Pro 13". I currently have an iWatch 4 and an iWatch 8 so do not need a new iWatch yet. Having two iWatches is great though...just switching from one to the other saves one from the annoyance of charging.

I’m planning on buying a lot of new Apple Watch bands. I love my ultra. It helps me out a lot during the day. It’s actually my most beneficial piece of technology that I own so I want to be able to change the vans around to either match certain things or even more so change the style on my wrist.
I plan on purchasing an Apple Wath Ultra--new model, and a series X. We have everything else Apple but have never made the jump to the Macbook. Thanks for the info!

Any idea when Apple will be able to bring Blood Oxygen Saturation readings back to the watch? I really love this in my Series 6 watch but when they had to stop the integration of this functionality on current release watches, then it has made me want to wait to see if they can develop the technology (this time without infringing on someone else's technology copyright).
I think Apple will need to redesign this sensor. I believe it will come back

I WANT TO UPGRADE MY IPAD PRO to the 13”. And I want the m3 MacBook Pro, I would definitely be interested in a CGM sensor for the watch and help me keep a closer eye on my blood glucose levels. The deacom g7 works well with my Apple Watch through their app. For the time being.

Planning on buying the new Apple Watch X (or Apple Watch Ultra 3 if available), iPhone 16Pro Max, and possibly an iPad Mini 2024 version.
Looking at Ultra 2 watch and new iPad Pro in the next few months - probably stay with iPhone 15 and the Ultra 2 unless there's some game changing new tech in the 16 and watch .
What about the Blood-Oxygen sensor/measurements? Is that functionality coming back in Watch 10?

I'm looking forward to an iPad Air 12,9" and an Apple Watch with blood pressure monitor to release. I'm gonna work in the heart-ICU this summer so hopefully I can save some money and buy in the fall. I'm in medical school and trying to upgrade my studies and doing a lot of mind maps so a bigger iPad screen would be very useful. And a blood pressure monitor on the Apple Watch would be awesome since I've had times with high blood pressure so to be able to measure regularly in the background would give me a piece of mind. Anyways exiting with the Apple event coming up 🤩
Well if I this year I plan on either upgrading my current iPhone 14 to the 16 if not that a new iPad Pro so I can watch tv and movies. Also start editing and doing projects that I’m happy about. A Mac book would be the perfect birthday gift.

Planning to get a new iWatch 9. Have a Garmin 955 and I think its time to go back to an apple watch.
I've had to change the ifxit battery and seal of course but I'm Im still wearing my 2015 Apple Watch One with the original black band. Yeasterday I paired it up successfully my insane iPhone 15 Blue Titanium- Pro Max. See no need yet to dump it even for an X and a new watch band.
It's taking all my will power to hold out for the next apple watch ultra!

as a type one diabetic, i use the dexcom g7 to track my blood sugars and it connects to my phone like you mentioned in the video, but it also alerts to my watch when i'm having high blood glucose or low blood glucose. No, its not directly coming from my apple watch into my skin but its almost the same as what your hoping for them to bring out.
The dexcom g7 sounds amazing for tracking!
Biggest problem with bg sensor is it has to be FDA approved as well as the watch being certified as a medical equipment device. Not to mention you will have to have a prescription to buy. Right now they are compatible with the Dexcom as a following device, but only in complications on some faces.
I may buy new earbud pro as I still have version one. Hope that counts.

Im going to be buying the new Apple Watch. I currently have. The 7 series but want a newer one since my battery life doesn’t last me a whole 14 hour shift anymore :)
I wonder what they are planning for the new Apple Watch if the blood glucose sensor is not ready yet.
The products that I am interested in are Mac mini and iPad Pro. This is not a final decision yet I will wait until all of the products are fully released.

As a type 1 diabetic, I’ve been waiting for this but there no real option apart from a CGM device like Dexcom or Libre. They should focus on the integrations of those apps on Apple Watch as currently mine is a bit hit and miss. I have to refer to my phone or the old finger prick if necessary. Great vid as always.

Depends on what changes with the new iPhone. Currently still using an iPhone 13 pro max. I was the type who would change my phone every 2 years every time but skipped on the 15 because it wasn’t that much of an upgrade. Hope the 16 is much better otherwise might just get an iPad.
