Sadly indeed, as you might have noticed I couldn't take part of this mod, having recently taken a full time job doing texturing for an animation studio,
I have next to no time for modding and the like. But I might not be completely retired! The community's (yours included) appreciation for what little I've done is alone worth the attempt.

I am SO happy you're back, Saurian. TH-cam and the Carnivores content here wasn't the same without you, man. And I think we can all speak that we're grateful the COPPA threat/misunderstanding was an empty one.
Another great showcase. The downgrade in texture quality from using these older skins really shows on some of the models. I guess it depends on the style that is preferred between more earthy and muted tones vs more colourful and vibrant ones.

Sometimes i am busy with life stuffs that don't let me work on mods. But i have some plans with Rodrigo to make alternate versions of this mod. We are working when we can on it.

I completely agree with you for the mot part - the original skins for most of the dinosaurs do look better, and the JPOG sounds are kinda meh. However, I have a crap-tonne of JPOG nostalgia so while the dinosaurs may be worse in every way, I still love them. But DAMN I adore the JPOG Acro and Carchara. They look so bad-ass and unique and that Carchara is quite possibly my favourite dinosaur design of all time. It's so perfect. So yeah, gonna have to unsubscribe for that blasphemy XD
Also when I say I mean I have a crap-tonne of JPOG nostalgia, I mean I love that game so much that I actually reeaally like the Alberto sounds - I know, I know, I'm objectively wrong but I still like those screams.

It's honestly really strange to me how people don't recognize the JPOG albertosaurus calls as sped up spinosaurus sounds immediately.
It might be kinda hard to pinpoint it through bleeding eardrums xD

Great to see you out of private with 2020 Saurian. I have a bit of a technical question for you though. I've been doing some Carnivores videos on my channel but I've not been able to get a nice recording set-up to capture the entire screen without some void space on the sides after scaling the recordings. I was wondering what program you use to record and if you've done any extra set-ups to be compatible with the older Carnivores games to get such clean recordings that you always show off?
Sure thing! I use Bandicam to record my footage, which used to default record with those black bars on the sides as well. After tinkering in the settings, I got it to record at 1080x720 widescreen.
Thanks for the quick reply and letting me know! I'll have to take a look into Bandicam more. I've been using OBS but it'd be nice to get a nice full picture for Carnivores videos.
