So i dont have alot of knowledge about wine, but i did do a few beer tastings and i will have a whiskey tasting in 2 months, After my child is born i want to go on a legit wine tasting thing and i would prefer doing it myself, would you agree buying a merlot priced 16 coins (doesnt mather what currency ) is better than buying a merlot 3 coins for the merlot? or would you say buy both and compare the two with the other people to see what you enjoy the most? I have found out myself my favorite style is shiraz or a zinfadel , but i like merlot's too esspecially the cheaper ones, they have this "cheapy" feel to them in my opinion which makes me feel like i care more about the grape style instead of the pricing, then again really expensive merlot tastes kinda the same, where the shiraz from lidl doesnt taste the same as from a legit wine store
There are a lot of factors when putting a price on wine. Just like buying food in a restaurant, you're paying for lots of other things like rent, labor, and sometimes marketing. We actually have a video that goes over this exact thing along with tasting cheaper vs more expensive wines :) th-cam.com/video/XwxznZibbk0/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=SlikWines
Great video! I never knew about the difference in skin thickness.
I've recently bought a delicious pear wine made in Germany, really good! :)
