- Today, we’re gonna take a look at a classic American made pickup truck. This is a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT Texas Edition, with the bulletproof 5.3 Vortec V8 hooked up to GM’s 6L80 6 speed automatic transmission. This pickup is 2wd, preferably not my favorite being that way but makes a great daily driver and family hauler! In this review, I’ll take you on a walk around the exterior, we’ll dive into the interior & finally a glimpse on the freeway for a test drive. Please excuse a few parts of the video, it was in the 20’s and misting with over 15 mph winds.. I’m pretty sure I got a cold from filming this, but none the less the short film was produced. It’s beyond me why anyone would buy a 2 wheel drive truck. I’ll never get it there’s no argument for it lol. Might as well get a 4 door charger. Completely defeats the purpose. Fantastic review though
