I like how he reverts back to calling Helios “head” when he turns up. It helps to emphasise just how much Kratos has come to value Mimir in comparison.
I still just love that SantiMonica doesn't try and shy away from just how violently over the top unnecessary brutal the Original trilogy was and Kratos was. They accept the monster they wrote.
Doing away with the Greek Saga would be a major disservice and middle finger to the fans of the original games. They showed how the protagonist is not always gonna be a good person, and how even the villains' evil could not compare to the main character's at times.

Pandora's Box is how Kratos beat Ares, but it was also a main reason the Gods of Olympus turned evil. With the release of Evil in the form of disaster into the World, Kratos remember Pandora's word about Hope from which he release into the World. However, even without that power, Kratos still have hope inside of him. That's what Tyr's want Kratos to see.

I hope his character development continues I think he’s gonna travel to different pantheons in order to gain a higher perspective like Tyr did. I think he will return to Egypt alongside Mimir a year or two after Valhalla and maybe Tyr will come along as a travel companion and a tour guide for Kratos in Egypt and telling stories about Egypt and what he learned there.
I like how Hephaestus was probably the only god Kratos didn’t have any ill-will towards after killing him. He was only “in the way” but Kratos would later admit to Pandora that “Hephaestus was doing what any father would do, protecting their child.” Hephaestus was a god, an Olympian at that, and Kratos hated all the gods of the Greek pantheon. But even Kratos could see the reason why the smith god turned on him in the end, to protect his only child. Hephaestus paid the price, but unlike his other selfish and greedy godly brethren, he did it for the right reasons.
The fact they brought back Crispin Freeman to do the voice of Helios just shows how much Ragnarok’s DLC was made for people who’ve been around with the Series since the first game.
Never will. That was after all the purpose of GOW1. To earn the Gods forgiveness for what he had done and have them erase the memories from his mind. Ironic part being if they had then the story ends there.
Perfect way of showing that kratos is hardly a "hero". That line that hits hard for me. "Even if you knew the consequences to opening the box; You would not have cared anyways."
